Wasted Years solo cover (Iron Maiden)

This solo cover is recorded through Line 6 Pod Go Wireless directly to D.A.W. with my own preset. To achieve voice that is similar to Adrian Smith`s guitar, I have added discrete slow flanger, delay and reverb, in addition to my basic setup, which is compressor, OD and Revv Gen. amp. For post-processing: L2A2 compressor.
For anyone who wants to try it - you might want not to use too much distortion/overdrive gain, as the solo is structured in a way that requires high precision and proper tone definition, or it might become too muddy.
A note for hardcore Iron Maidens fans: In the intro part i did a half of strokes on open E on purpose, for two reasons - with so much reverb and delay which create repetitions, I beleive that it provides slightly better accent, and it sounds more natural to my ear considering the sequences of the kick, bass line and hihat in the background. It is just a matter of personal preference and style, of course with all due respect to Adrian Smith and Maidens.
