Interesting videos, I saw a few of them and followed your journey a bit. Are you now graduated and in Paris for good?
Parisian apartments definitely have that Old World charm but it seems a bit cramped and old, are there any newer ones you are looking at? Seems like I'm used to the layouts of North American designs re location of the appliances, washroom - which do you prefer?

I love modern styles for apartments (especially big kitchens with a countertop) but the “parisian chic” of apartments in France is incomparable!!
So I will definitely try to see if I can find more modern apartments in Paris!

@FashionWithValeriya You said that apartment #2 had a sketchy neighborhood. What was sketchy about the neighborhood?
Basically the neighborhood is 2min away from a metro station and lots of people mingle around there at night selling their stuff.. which is not ideal for a young woman at night.. 🥲
Are the rent prices you mentioned, expensive or no? Is this what parisians normally pay per month for housing? thanks :)

I just can not believe how Parisian apartments are even worse than the flats in London.., I absolutely adore the historical architectures in both cities, however once you’re inside, those awful patchy flooring, cracked ceilings, chipped paints and mildew all over the places and untrustworthy water and electrical installations should not be a major problem and hassle for the renters in present times. I don’t know the main rules and regulations for landlords before they put their property on market but they certainly don’t fulfil the satisfactory needs of modern day living, these properties should be assessed by the government before they take place in market and should be renovated to minimum standards at least.. the untidiness of the present owner is another disastrous scenario which I’m not even gonna get into..
