- Join me on a winter drive through beautiful Saskatoon and a walk on Meewasin trail near South Saskatchewan river.
Saskatoon is the biggest city of of Saskatchewan with population under 300,000 people.
This city is very cold. However, the coldness of this city is lighted up by sunny days. Due to this the city's slogan is Saskatoon Shines.
Saskatoon was developed in the late 19th century by the people involved in temperance movement as an alcohol free society. The city grew up to be a gem of the prairies and is known as the Paris of the prairies.

Ji bilkul kabhi University of Saskatchewan pe bhi vlog banaun ga. Ab main Calgary rehta hun tou kabhi Saskatoon jana hua tou University ko detail main cover karun ga. Waise mere channel k shuru main maine aik video Saskatoon ki banayi thi aur University ko kuch dikhaya tha uss video main but wo video University ko detail main cover nahi karti.
As always a beautiful and informative video. You have lived in many Canadian cities, which one you like most?
Saskatoon tops the list so far but Calgary comes very close. I think Saskatoon has a perfect size for a city with all the services available and it's not overcrowded. Also, the culture of Saskatoon supports good work life balance. People are nice and friendly.
The city is cheap so you end up saving some money which is rare in other places nowadays.
The only downside is the cold but all of Canada is actually cold and I've found that you get used to the climate after a couple of winters so the cold doesn't make much difference.

How is the transit system in Saskatoon ? Is it frequent and reliable whole city all day ?
Unfortunately, the transit system is not very reliable. Busses are usually late and are 30 mins apart in highest frequency period. Weekends have limited service. Busses also don't go to the newer areas.
For these reasons, you need to have a car in Saskatoon.

Over the summer I've been focusing on making travel videos, so have not made that comparison video. I'll make it during the winter as there are less outdoor activities during winter in Canada.

I now live in Calgary but visit Saskatoon often. I will make more vlogs about Saskatoon and Saskatchewan in future. Right now my focus is travel, maybe in the future I'll do some vlogs on other things like renting, shopping etc.

Yes Saskatoon is a great city. I got a job offer in Calgary which was good for my career so I made a decision to move. But I still miss Saskatoon.
