but hell Andy has better drops in general, that being said your probably right farming nightmare with his gear and being somewhat new to Diablo is the better option

@@dvdgamingthings289 Farming bosses for uniques requires MF gear, and with MF gear he's not going to farm hell with any good speed. NM Meph is tried and true unique farming until you get a really good unique MF set and then you can go farm hell.
I miss the wild-west trading economy back then. With online gaming in it's early stages it was quite fun. If you invested real-life dollars in creating that HC 9th lvl Assassin. Finding and buying all the right charms. I was broke, but my assassin had some killer small charms stacked. She was fun and dueling got my palms sweaty. I knew Blizzard was going to want in on all the SoJ's and real currency being traded.

Just a heads up, shop for a lower resist wand, makes a bit easier (u can break some monsters immunity) and also a tele staff!

He REALLY needs to use a different Merc lol. A Rogue would be so much better for him since they tend to kite and y'know...not die every 10 seconds. His Act 2 isn't even surviving long enough to cast an aura half the time.
emilio needs a stealskull/visage/etc and a duriel shell or something similar, an updated insight would go a long way once he has the leech and can't be frozen. a2 with holy freeze + insight is just a massive source of crowd control and mana regen that it's really tough to pass up. in my experience a1 mercs die instantly, but ymmv i guess

@Guzutv lightning Amazon or Javazon is a famous glas cannon.
The lightning dishes out so high dmg without a high dependence on gear.
but the lighting imunities are the big weakness
When you get your hands on the Runes 'Hel-Ko-Thul-Eth-Fal'
you can use the 5 socked poleaxe for a massiv dmg boost to Emilio
It is the right move...right up until A3 hell when you begin just using a tele staff for dear life.
just a reminder, there were no options for respec in the previuous patches back in the day. Once you fcked up you had to start a new char ;) no shared stash no runewords etc... That was THE HELL ;)
btw the ethereal items that cannot be repaired have better armour thus being better for emilio cuz emilio doesen't take repair damage (idk if chat already told you this)

I decided to play offline and started with a javazon. Did really well with one online but the gear i had made a huge difference i didn't really think about. Figured id just get to the pits in hell and farm for stuff but no. Not really. Didn't know you can only get sunder charms from hell terror zones.

Farm mephisto nm or andy hell. Get better weap.
And from there consider running from most mobs and only kill those who matter.
Also some maps spawn will be close be impossible for you, so remake is you get lousy mob spawns at important places.
You could also farm for a weap with teleportation charges, buuuut
Penetration is useless for Charged Strike and Lightning Fury.
Also, in Tower Cellar, always go as left as possible. The next level will be that way. On all difficulties.

Smoke rune word armor
Why not melee Lightning Strike, so you don't have to repair? It handles everything, just like Lightning Fury does. Moreover it targets automatically after the first hit.
thats the problem of this game, everything is ultrea easy and hell is a bit difficult...

You're running around with 1/4 health attacking mobs! 😊
Keep your belt FULL. Keep your health FULL. Keep your merc ALIVE.
Dump silly Emilio and get a cold rogue.
Keep running areas where you can safely kill lots of mobs, until you are rich and levelled up.
Clear areas before advancing to next area then if your health takes any damage, retreat back to the safe area and draw monsters out one or two at a time.
Use that DECOY! Cast decoy up ahead, see what attacks it.
Try HC next time. ;)
