We have heard a lot about the bravery of the Gurkha army. Thirteen of those brave Gurkhas have been awarded the Victoria Cross Medal. The first Gurkha Army to receive the Victoria Cross was Kulbir Thapa Magar. He was awarded the medal for his bravery in World War I. In this video we have presented the biography of the first Gurkha VC Kulbir Thapa.
हामीले गोर्खा आर्मीको बहादुरीको कथा त सारै धेरै सुनेका छौँ । ती बहादुर गोर्खाहरूमध्ये १३ जनाले भिक्टोरिया क्रस पदक सम्मान पाएका छन् । त्यसमा सबैभन्दा पहिला भिक्टोरिया क्रस पाउने गोर्खा आर्मी हुन् कुलवीर थापा मगर । उनले पहिलो विश्वयुद्धमा प्रदर्शन गरेको बहादुरीका कारण उनलाई उक्त पदक सम्मान प्रदान गरिएको थियो । यो भिडियोमा हामीले उनै प्रथम गोर्खा भीसी कुलवीर थापाको जीवनी प्रस्तुत गरेका छौँ ।
