Great video, thank you. You got me confused at the end when I though you wanted to catch icmp from SiteA to SiteB over the mpls and your wireshark showed only rip multicast..? So my question is: would that be possible to see communication other then rip multicast (for example: telnet, icmp, ftp, tftp) between SiteA and SiteB ? When using whireshark to see the traffic would I be able to read it in clear text if protocols like telnet are used?

1. High latency between site A and Site B.
2. Is this method (L2VPN-Xconnect) used for P2P only or can be used for Multipoint as well.

Towards the end with wireshark capture, ICMP was right there in plain sight to demonstrate the details but somehow you zeroed in on RIP pkts which of course won't show any ping traffic. Not sure, why?

Good job. Everything worked beautifully. Looking at the MPLS Layer 2 & Layer 3 headers in Wireshark, there doesn't seem to be a way to determine which one is layer 3 and which one is layer 2 unless you go back to the command line...
