- The government of Ghana has procured new trains for railway transport in the country.
The first units of 12 modern trains for Ghana Railways are to operate regional and long-distance lines and are expected to arrive from Poland by mid-next month.
Ghana's Deputy Information Minister Fatimatu Abubakar on Friday (19 January) shared pictures of the train on her X to confirm the news.

I hope for great cooperation with Ghana, Poland also need to teach your engineers how to maintain this train, and maybe in future we can open fabric in Ghana for growing African market for trains. Greetings from Poland!
Hi people from Ghana. Im from Poland. Thank you for buying trans made in Poland. I hope this is start of good business relations between Ghana and Poland. Thanks.
Ghana didn’t make them themselves, Thr Ashanti must return to glory n built this themselves

Indeed, it's the beginning and we hope to do more business and also exchange programmes!!
@@Kgoki890I'm a proud Ashanti but Ghana first. Its not only we Ashantis that can build Ghana. It's collectively. Say No to tribalism ✊🏾
I wish you satisfaction with the purchased trains. Greetings from Poland!
No Ghanaian-American engineer. He is Ghanaian. Had he committed a crime he would have been referred to as Ghanaian. He is Ghanaian. Bravo Ghana!
Yes.
They do it every time.
Not true. A black woman caused an uproar in the US claiming a black man hit her with a brick. She was Somali but we just said black woman.
Greetings from Poland. PESA trains are already appreciated in Europe. I am very happy that they will also serve the people of Ghana. May they prove to be great and cooperation between our countries develops!
👍 thank you brother for using your God giving talents too develop the motherland africa . High-speed rail will fit in the africa continent very well.
Nigeria built a metro line system in lagos and now Ghana is doing the same for Accra. Glad to see that some African countries are not asleep. Keep it up. Some African countries are moving forward. Others are moving backwards to the stone age.
Well done Ghana 🇬🇭 and Nigeria 🇳🇬,,, in Tanzania 🇹🇿 we have similar project going on; you can go check on it!!
Thank you Mr.Haruna now we need rails for the FREIGHT. For timber, oil and gas and train for Northern Ghana, Burkina Faso all the way to Nigeria.
🙏
By the way, this is a commendable act. This gentleman/private citizen did not have to do anything. My comment regarding making something for ourselves is pointed towards the government failure to do more.
Its always nice to do business with honest people
The Minister of Railway has come out to say,the trains are not 12 but only 2.
And it's not new train,
They are old like the ones used by china in 1884 😂😂😂😂
They are like scraps
Wonderful, I will be waiting for the results
PESA trains are pure Polish design sold in many places in the world. Hope you enjoy it.
This is the way to progress not crying for slavery, hope not to stell it by metal hunters...😊
So people are still saying government of Ghana is not building railway lines.
Are you people in Ghana or elsewhere??
Some of the lines have been built.
what about the train,
There are only two and are as old as fuck. Like the ones used in china in 1887😂😂
The ones you see in video are fake
Yes I know this man really Thomas Mensah he's engineer
I want to ride the Accra Express !
Everything ghana is about online hype, this same channel told the world how ghana is building a sky train, MRO etc, but they were all audio
Apart from Tema-Mpakadan, I don't see any new lines. Where are the railway lines?
western lines from western region to ksi is also on-going.
These particular trains from PESA are not bullet trains.
These are used in Poland and other countries as regional or outer city trains for short journeys.
Good luck for Africa from Poland. One day you will have it all.
Rome wasn't built in a day
The Ghanaian citizens are easier to fooled so the authorities always try to use their brains to deceive them
✌️🇵🇱 POLAND 🇵🇱💞✌️ GHANA 💞✌️💞✌️Africa GHANA Africa 💞✌️💞✌️
Hope to avoid annimal transport in the train...😅
Where is the starting point of the railway line in Accra and where has it reached along the kumasi direction, Again is it Bawumia to complete it when Akuffo is gone I pray Ghanaians be more eyes opening
Our maintenance record is poor. Need to train some of our technical or engineering graduates on maintaining these trains.
Don't worry. PESA provide professional training and support. All inclusive.
its been 7 years now and we've not allowed this great man do anything to benefit the populace. Where is the railway for this project from Accra to Tamale? We've purchased trains fine, where are the rail ways from Accra to Tamale?
You people question about everything just vote for the best person to continue the process ungrateful people wants free things help Dr Bawumia move forward
They only procured two trains
Looking good Ghana
who will pay ? WMF or WB have nk money for Ghana.
You will pay for it. Nobody's gonna pay for it for you to use. Nothing is for free!
Why not South African trains?
Please don't provoke us, we are not going to see anything, anytime soon. We hear all these nice promises, but nothing transpires, is all politics.
Bro we are used to this things .
Seeing is believing.
This isn't a bullet train ooo. Please
Considering that the continent has most if not all the raw material. Will any parts of those trains be built on the continent. It's time for Africa to reduce on outside products. Being purly a consumption block that provides work and wealth for others while condeming our labouring population to a life of poverty will never enhance ownership or development for ourselves.
I think that a service center will be established first. PESA produces good and modern trains at an affordable price. If they prove successful and there are more orders from Ghana and other African countries, you can jointly produce trains for local markets.

Eiii masa if this man is saying from 2022-24 I know the railway line passes through Santana abofu dome etc and that railway was under renovation seven years ago and it's still the old size in width. If this man is not saying the truth hmmmm then God help us Ghana
12 TRAINS i don't believe it, maybe 2 TRAIN
Bullet train is not a small technology even the United States of America and most of the developed countries don't have it I believe Ghana should go slowly yes Ghana need new and fast train but bullet 🚅🚅🚅🚅 do we even have the engineers to maintain and service this level of train .......
160 km/h is a far cry from a bullet train.
Highspeed begins around 250 km/h.
Sweden and Germany have regional trains going 200 km/h.
But they would have focusing on roads first, bad road everywhere. Person will follow bad road to the train station?
Ghana paa oo 😏
That's great job of the government of Ghana under Npp government
HOW DID HE COME HOME ? HE WALKED.
Go and RESEARCH 'DR THOMAS MENSAH'. KOBY IRELAND
Is this hearsay or for real? cos seeing is believing. If Ghana is able to procure the 12 trains, get them to Ghana before December it can influence or change a lot of things. This will be a great milestone for this Government, unless of course it is the usual lies and propaganda we are used to 😂😂
Similar repors have been done by Poles, so it's no hearsay or joke. Yes, Ghana bought dozen trains from Poland and yes, they are one by one shipped to Ghana just now. I hope your country will be interested in further business in this turf. PESA has much more train and trams types to offer. They are one of the best selling products around the Europe so far, because they keep European high standards and cost less than competitors products.
@@maciekszymanski8340 I heard only 2 trains made it to Ghana and already a train crash during a test ride 😂. This adds another twist to the story man ...
Ghana people and pessimism . They doubt their own ability so they doubt the abilities of others too.
Say that again my brother..hmm
He came to my office in Atlanta, 42floors up, tallest building in Atlanta
Sir, what has that got to do with anything?
He’s implying he had accomplished alot over there and didn’t have to come if not for Ghana 🇬🇭.
Because he knows you will later come and say he only came to chop money so he has to let you know he doesn’t need your money
@@ghnnnnn You've got a lot to learn sir.
@@DeKapitalMe How far up you are doesn't mean jack. Used to know a barbershop on the 20th floor of a building.
So why hasn't he been contracted yet by the government?. Ask the education secretary of Ghana, when he was contacted by government, he was signed immediately.
He landed in Ghana with the job.
Why is your guy still selling himself and getting tossed about. You've got a lot to learn buddy.
@@wojaffochicago6591 you need it more
This is all fune but may iask the question who is going to build these rail way station by right it should be the youths that should be building these railway stations they need to be taught how to read two dimension drawings first they should be given the proper tools so they can fabricate these stations if anything is going to do with metal instead of foreigner this how i see it
This government de3.... always promising A and delivering B
Everything Nana Addo promised are on course , from free education, one district one factory, one village one dam, roads and interchanges constructions, Astro turf across the country, ten new studiums and youth centers, reconstruction of Apiate town ship, building hostel and training center for Kayayes and many more, they are all on course, Nana Addo God bless you
@@FaustinaAgyemang-hi4jlthey know very well the government is doing a lot but they’re still trying to bury these projects
I won't hold my breath because our maintenance culture is poor. What happened to our old trains and railways?
Is basically the same train as this czcams.com/video/ibMdBTdKomA/video.html for reference.

I keep asking, where's the sky train or scam?
Purchasing the trains from a European country is not strategic, future sanctions by the EU will make Ghana unable to get spare parts from Poland
Poland was NOT colonial country in the past .....
@@tomaszser470 That is true, But any sanctions imposed by Brussels on Ghana will affect Poland/Ghana Trade.
South africa builds trains, why don't we buy African made trains?
Those are European built trains, just by a differrent company and sold to a different African county.
Most good trains come from Europe, even the Americans order European trains which must be assembled in the US due to legal reasons.
The problem we have is Poland is not in the train business l am talking about the quality
🤣🤣😂
What are they in then. Beyifo)
Lies lies apuuuu atroofooo Hahaha npp hmmmm no hope
Bayiefo).
Ur spirit doesn’t like good things
Every day news in Ghana since independence, professional liar 🤥
What’s the lie about it.
😅😅😅 joke country
Why buy trains in Poland when Germany 🇩🇪 makes much better trains in europe??
Maybe cost was an issue. South Africa also builds trains.
Pesa delivered 23 Linkas to Germany in the two-car version and 49 in the three-car version. These are vehicles intended for regional traffic. They carry passengers in the areas of Dortmund (Sauerland), Frankfurt (Hesse) and Munich (Allgäu). So far, they have traveled over 2 million kilometers.
PESA trains are good at a good price. You can buy better (faster) ones, but what's the point if there is no rail infrastructure in Ghana to support high-speed trains?
@@JohnBraun-pp1bt PESA also makes faster trains :)
So why did Germany buy almost 100 Polish PESA trains? This is one of them czcams.com/video/E_kaGcFvTNs/video.html One of the PESA models bought by the Czech Republic - czcams.com/video/ibMdBTdKomA/video.html
