Hails Den! It was great doing the interview with you. Best of luck with your channel.
Nice interview Vincent
I share the same opinion as yours regarding Morbid Angel Abominations of Desolation. it is still considered a demo by Trey Azagthoth but it was a full length that was never really officially released in 1986. Because Mike Browning left, we all know the story with Trey
with Mike Browning's girlfriend...I'm not going to go into further detail about this...but okay. that's why he left.
Abominations of Desolation circulated for years in the tape trading circuit or via bootleg etc. until 1991 when it was officially released by Earache Records. I also have the vinyl record, in my opinion it is a Full Lenght, many people consider Altars of Madness as the first, but I still go for Abominations of Desolation.
@@coffin-ib3ty Thanks! Yeah, the whole MORBID ANGEL saga is a soap opera. Haha But that album definitely create a new way of thinking in Metal.
indeed completely agree, you can also hear the deep Thrash Metal influences on the record, which was also the case with many emerging Death Metal Acts in the 80s.
Pestilence for example. their demos & first album from 1988 the bridge from Thrash to Death Metal etc. in their music.
many songs from Abomination of Desolation were later re-recorded on Altars of madness or on Blessed are The Sick there are also some
and of course I also think that Altars of Madness is a world record, the blue album cover with the demons on it is crazy!hahaha but when it comes to the first Full Lenght? I'm going for Abominations of Desolation@@VINCENTCROWLEY-
