I love this house! I have 17 bottles from AdP which was the most from 1 house until it was dethroned by Jo Malone. To pick a top 3 is hard, even if you pick the top 3 from each line, I enjoy them a lot! I don't have the Pura yet, after this review, I want it even more.
I bought this about 5 months ago and absolutely love it. I wish I was wearing more this summer. The good news is I'm in Texas where warm weather goes through October.

You should ... the original Colonia has a more "dated" character in the beginning but due to the quality of the ingredients it is awesomely good. ... More modern versions are Colonia Pura and Colonia Intensa ... both are really nice. If you have the possibility to go to a store to try it out than do so ... they also have a "darker" (and more expensive) line with Leather and Oud scents ... the Colonia Leather is the most realistic leather scent imho.
My signature scent for spring and summer. Its also still pretty unknown.
I get a Mediterranean seaside town vibe from it. It's unisex but skews masculine for me.
Seems to last the standard 5-6h, not recommended if you like loud fragrances. Probably best for guys in there late 20's to 40's.
Max looks like another great summer frangrance, will have to check it out on the next run to the mall . Thank you for great video.
I tried this one out when it first came out. I was underwhelmed. I definitely prefer the original Colonia and Essenza.

Acqua di Parma is my favorite. Only perfume house I will but a new release without smelling it first.
Just got my sample from decantshop today. Exactly as max states...simple and sophisticated. Definitely an 'upper class' cologne smell. I think I may enjoy this a bit more then therry mugler.

Pura is very underrated. I love it’s freshness and modern elegant scent. It’s perfect for young people and it’s lasts a long time on me.

Max , I need your thoughts on ADP Colonia Essenza...that one is available at a local store here 100 ml for 145 US$....due to lack of reviews,I refrained from buying it...please share your thoughts on scent, projection, longevity etc, so I could make a decision :-)

Far too expensive for the weak concentration. Look at the price and performance of the Bulgari.
Colonia Pura is among the top 10 most underwelming scents I ever owned. I'll go as far as saying it's bad. Very generic and cheap smelling aquatic scent. I also have AdP essenza, leather and oud and they are on another level.
If you want to smell of a cheap supermarket fragrance, be sure to get this.

Hey John, no - not at all. This is quite youthful and playful - great for the warm seasons...
The perfume's very beautiful, but it's underperforming.
