I managed to go to a show recently, and realized that there is nothing for Grand Trunk Western in N Scale. They have all the other railroads and all the other heritage units from every railroad including the Fox Valley fictional heritage units. But they didn't even have the GTW heritage unit. I can't even find the SD40-2 without dynamic breaks in GTW, let alone GP38s and 40s in GTW, making modeling the 1970s-1990s on the GTW nearly impossible.
The two veterans units ran together on CN intermodal Q194/195 for about a week in the early months of them being repainted. BC Rail 3115 was on the Clinton, IL local back in September for a few days
Definitely loving these new spotlight series! Looking forward to more roadnames being showed off in this style! Even though these units are different scales the history is always good to know!!!
Hey Drayton Great Video man them are Cool Locomotives I picked up The J EJE model got 3 more set in Lay-A-Way to get 1 need is the Veterans for my Dad who was in the Navy.. Got a Question though on my EJE is it Normal Drayton to hear a little hiss noise coming through with Sound that the Engine makes when the prime mover is Running it kind of like the speaker is distorted but I can hear it in my Slightly older Scale Trains Gevo KCS 5010 of course my Hearing is Really top knotch so I can hear Real good maybe not as good as an Eagle but my ears can pick up the fine stuff.. Just was wondering O" on my KCS it doesn't have speaker holes so its a bit Queter than my EJE thanks for your Time Allen D RDA N Scale

Really cool that these locomotives are being offered for the N scale crowd as well as HO! I'm getting the HO scale EJ&E unit, that's been one on my radar ever since it was announced!! Don't have any personal connections to EJ&E, I just liked the all orange scheme and the logo!
