interesting comment because ACTUALLY Marla and Donald were FORNICATING before they tied the knot, not committing adultery. That´s because Ivana had a prior spouse whom she dumped when she was able to get residency in North America, afterwhich she met Donald. However, Donald had never been married before so he was committing adultery by marrying Ivana, a divorcee.
Marla on the other hand had never married before Donald. Therefore Marla and Donald are covenant spouses, still, and Donald is in an adulterious marriage now with Melania.

So Donald now knew the truth. He’d been snuckered. All the grief and pain of breaking up his 12 yr marriage to Ivana and their 3 children had happened because he fell for a honey trap. The divorce ensued

I think the premise of the marriage was doomed to fail. it started as an affair, and usually when that happens, someone is bound to cheat later in the relationship. it happens this day in age in our culture. However, I really think she came forward as a testament for his character as a father. Maybe he was not a great husband to her, but she wasn't a great wife. However, everything I have seen about him as a father, he seems to have done a great job. If he treats his country with the same character that he treats his children, I think he will be a great president. Not perfect, but certainly one who genuinely cares for this country and not someone who is simply a politician who is doing his job.
