As a retired D4C:LT main, I can confidently say that clone spam is less efficient than planning and strategizing your moves. I usually only use victim clone as a "get off me" tool or as a stalling move while I use self clones as a distraction for the opponent, making an opening for attacks. Using dimension hop can bait the person into posing, giving you a surprise pocket revolver as soon as you force yourself out *IF* you can predict where they will be. 2.4 per hit on the barrage with hamon paired with the Love Train is very useful for damage, and they just kind of die if they barrage back. I had tested a full hamon barrage with a tw user, and after we had both barraged he had about 1/4 of his health left (max vitality, specless). D4C:LT is dumb because it's dumb in the manga.
AT first I thought I accidently pressed it or it was a glitch or some, cause I found out in a 1v1, so I used it again to figure out what happened. Turns out, d4c was blowing up my smoke and I couldn't use it that fight due to the smoke being spawned right beside me.

something interesting here: if you summon clones when someone is in Time skip/time stop, they will follow whoever is manipulating time. if its a TS stand, the clones will still go after the time stopper. If it's King Crimson, the clones will follow the user, so you know where they are.

@@willno8888 my friend used to have KCR and I still have D4CLT on my second slot, we always 1v1 eachother, and the only way he discovered to damage me in love train was by using epitaph on me or my clones, whenever Raging Demon activated (with my love train on and still running) I took damage and he didn’t.
i've been a d4c main for a while now and i love how simple it is, specially playing it in teams, learning stupid things like being able to pocket dimension someone while he's posing and letting them heal to full or how to fight tusks, it's been rough not being able to use lt but the 2.4 barrage is so useful in so many situations, you can just go barrage first get counter barraged and then pop love train when their barrage finishes so you win the trade anyways

It you use dimension hop with love train it becomes unconscionable except for gold experience requiem, the world, the world au, star platinum, star platinum the world, and the world over heaven, and tusk act 4.
The thing about self clones is that it can actually help you avoid damage in TS, I’ve seen stuff like when a D4C is about to send clones in during the windup for TS, and the clones that spawn after time is stopped are not affected, and will keep attacking
@@robertogribas6230 it's hard to spam clones when a mih just rushes you tho, I don't know how to deal with mihs so I just block and dodge what I can and try to land a hit of some kind, more often I try to land a close range attack or my gun, I have a hard time aiming my mouse at the mih for explosive clones, and they just kill my clones immediately with their heaven's judgement, except my explosive clone can ragdoll them due to contact explosion.

off topic thing but I got a good way of farming dio oh with d4c lt (kinda recommend getting lt maxed out) 1. have a friend or someone in the server with twoh to help you with this 2. have your twoh friend reality overwrite punch him 3. create an explosive clone of dio to lure him to you instead of your friend 4. activate love train once dio teleports to you and don’t attack 5. once your lt runs out get your twoh friend to lure him away and fight for a bit while u wait for cooldown to be over 6. Rinse repeat, you get final kill cause when you use your first lt if dio oh does not bug out and not attack then you can shred half of his health with lt (if dio oh uses ts on you just get your twoh friend to throw knifes or use steel ball throw if he has spin to lure dio away)
Pro tip you can extend lt by a few more seconds by ending it ur self with either posing or charging hamon It also reflects bd and does more damage than sptw doing like 0.8 or 0.7 Also tusk doesn’t counter d4c only lt
It's actually a rather odd interaction where reflected damage is based on the LT's destructive power, rather than the enemy's. That's why the reflected barrage at the start did so much DMG.
4:00 the reason they did this is because originally (its a balance) you could LT at the end of someones TS and all the damage done would be reflected back
Dimensional hop can be used in a unique way and I've seen people done it. It completely shreds. 1. Make sure you're vamp 2. Make sure your self clones are off cooldown 3. Go into your dimension 4. Summon your clones 5. Kill your clones 6. Free blood refill Yeah it wastes your clones but the cooldown ain't that long. You could stall with the victim clone or revolver

About the counters on clones. If you use dimensional self clones, the counter hits the clones themselves. But if you use the explosive clone and they counter it, YOU will get hit.

Another thing which might be useful for love train(applies for Your own shadow as well) effects and Beatdown CAN be turned against opponents. Example: SPTW uses funny Beatdown while love train active. D4C does a Beatdown to the opponent(no dmg change) Another thing. Vamp uses freeze, the vamp will get frozen because of love train/your own shadow.
The final node of love train doesn't help too much, I find. This lets you get more hp and speed. Also quick draw is not required for the revolver to be good, so quick draw can be used to dump points when you have the rest of your abilities fitted out
ik im late but d4c's dimension hop is rlly good in 2v2's because if u bring somebody into ur dimension u can trap them in there by pressing z when ur not near them they will only be able to leave once the timers up essentially making a 2v2 into a 2v1 for a little while
Hey I just wanted to share a little strategy I have for D4C! (I do not have love train yet just d4c) So when you pull out your victim clone or your self clone, a way to get the most dmg possible for these clones is to use the pocket revolver. If you hit your opponent as they are running or trying to attack these clones, you will stun them with the revolver allowing any of the clones to come and hit the other person

Tip if you want to barrage without Love Train or barrage first is use ur own clone and if they barrage ur clone, u barrage them back. If u clone swap is little bit hard when u want to barrage back. So... Yeah, that the tip.
you probably said this later in the video but you can use dimension hop to see people in time erase, cream's dimension hop, etc. also GER can cancel it, also starting the cutscene
Btw, the fact that vamps can get blood out of clones is not a bug. You get blood by killing (and life draining) players and npcs. Since D4C's (and D4C LT's) clones are npcs, you get blood by killing (and life draining) them.
I wanna mention something eclipse forgot to mention if you time LT just at the right time when they ts you can't get hurt and if they attacked you during the ts they will be the ones taking the damage

I feel that D4C:LT is kind of broken in the 1v1 mode but in main game you can genuinely outmaneuver it and have fun fighting it!
About the counters on clones. If you use dimensional self clones, the counter hits the clones themselves. But if you use the explosive clone and they counter it, YOU will get hit.
People actually don't know how to counter d4c?

Another thing which might be useful for love train(applies for Your own shadow as well) effects and Beatdown CAN be turned against opponents.
Example: SPTW uses funny Beatdown while love train active. D4C does a Beatdown to the opponent(no dmg change)
Another thing. Vamp uses freeze, the vamp will get frozen because of love train/your own shadow.

Other people heal in hop, only the user doesn’t.
The final node of love train doesn't help too much, I find. This lets you get more hp and speed. Also quick draw is not required for the revolver to be good, so quick draw can be used to dump points when you have the rest of your abilities fitted out

ik im late but d4c's dimension hop is rlly good in 2v2's because if u bring somebody into ur dimension u can trap them in there by pressing z when ur not near them they will only be able to leave once the timers up essentially making a 2v2 into a 2v1 for a little while
Hey I just wanted to share a little strategy I have for D4C! (I do not have love train yet just d4c) So when you pull out your victim clone or your self clone, a way to get the most dmg possible for these clones is to use the pocket revolver. If you hit your opponent as they are running or trying to attack these clones, you will stun them with the revolver allowing any of the clones to come and hit the other person

if a kc/kcr uses time erase, u can hop into to ur dimension and when they come out you can see them so you can get the jump on them when you come out
this may apply to a few other moves idk i never tested any others
also im pretty sure that you can heal teammates in ur dimension if they pose then you take them in

6:32 actualy whe they counter it does affect u but explosive clones usuali punch once or twoce before exploding so when they counter they still lost 30 hp and got trown back and by the time they stand up u will be able to move again

Tip if you want to barrage without Love Train or barrage first is use ur own clone and if they barrage ur clone, u barrage them back. If u clone swap is little bit hard when u want to barrage back. So... Yeah, that the tip.

you probably said this later in the video but you can use dimension hop to see people in time erase, cream's dimension hop, etc. also GER can cancel it, also starting the cutscene
D4C LT gives me nostalgia, because i dont used love train too much so my main memory its when he got released.
Btw, the fact that vamps can get blood out of clones is not a bug. You get blood by killing (and life draining) players and npcs. Since D4C's (and D4C LT's) clones are npcs, you get blood by killing (and life draining) them.
I wanna mention something eclipse forgot to mention if you time LT just at the right time when they ts you can't get hurt and if they attacked you during the ts they will be the ones taking the damage
