Glad that the pandemic situation in your country is getting better. In my country the government decided to reopen different locations like two weeks ago and now the infection rate is exploding that's why we most likely go into lock down 3 tomorrow.

That missing piece gave me anxiety for like 5 seconds until you found it laying under the table. Such a huge relief 😌 and it's not even my puzzle haha.

If you've never done a puzzle, you cannot imagine the experience of running your hands over a finished puzzle (or even a big section) and feel the texture of all the interconnections of the pieces. It's so satisfying! I've never done a puzzle this big though. My biggest one was the 9000 piece astrology puzzle that you also did. And I have another 9000 piece one of an old world map that has its first half finished since a few years ago. Watching your videos makes me want to get into puzzling again and finally finish the map. :D

imean, this one is essentially four seperate puzzles of 6k each, so while thr result of 24k looks more impressive, i think a full 9k is similarly impressive in some ways!

@@jurgnobs1308 9k puzzles come in 2 bags of 4.5k, so it's not that impressive in comparison. I wasn't crazy enough to mix both bags before starting :D

Thank you doesn’t being to convey the gratitude I feel for your video of this life puzzle being in my feed and for you making it. After watching your first video of you getting the puzzle it made me want to get a puzzle to try, I bought a 1500 puzzle and got intimidated, so I bought a simple 500 puzzle, I started to put it together and without asking my 17 and 10 year old started helping me. And then a moment that I thought I’d never know, my 10 yr old looked at me and said”this is better than playing Minecraft and roblox, thanks for doing this so we can all bond, can we do another!” I held back tears, and I know people will think this is stupid, but I just wanted to thank you for a memory I will treasure forever. Thank you.
What a nice memory! I have so many memories of doing puzzles with my mom when I was younger, and it's such a great activity to do as a family.

Ichthus (ιχθύς) is the greek word for fish, no need for the -logy part. So you can simply call it Ichtharus. But in my opinion it works better in latin. Latin word for fish is piscis, you can call it Piscarus.

One of the most satisfying things when I'm doing a puzzle is "the puzzle caress." I see you do it and I'm sure most people do. When you get that section complete and you need the tactile feedback of running your hand lovingly over it (sometimes many times) over the entire section (also to be sure there isn't a piece missing that you didn't see). So satisfying. Surprisingly, it even "feels" good to see someone else do it too.
Looks great on the wall. Really shows off the accomplishment. Only joined your channel recently and up to now it was mostly headshots. No sense of your height. So that was fun, too.
Well let me join the others by acknowledging and thanking you for your commitment to puzzling for us and documenting all the aspects in the process. You are a joy to watch and listen to. In my opinion, flying fish are one of the coolest fish. I remember when I went on a cruise and there were a lot of flying fish jumping along the way. Such an amazing sight. 😊

14 weeks ago I became a mother and since then I have no time for puzzling anymore. Thanks to Karen I can still enjoy this relaxing hobby while my baby sleeps lying on my chest.

Congratulations on your little one. Mine are nearly 2 and nearly 4 and I have a bit of puzzle time again. And my older one is doing 100 piece puzzles now. You'll get there.
Yeah, i never puzzled much before my Kid was Born, but i did start with my friend. We both have 4 year olds so they can Play together. One time we even puzzled 5 hours in one day.
Congratulations! Get them into puzzling as a toddler and you’ll most likely have a puzzle buddy for life :). My first puzzle buddy is 5 1/2 and she loooves for me to make her little piles out of my big puzzle so we can do it together
@@juleseseses i Wish i could. My Kid Loved puzzling (was doing Puzzles Made for Kids 3+and 4+ alone at about 22 month) but He lost interest as fast as He started. His friend was never that good and only did it Back then because my child Liked them, but she needed glasses and hates Puzzles because of that. Trying to do them, without seeing them right Made Her have a grudge against them.
I dont know where i went wrong in my child.
I soo just want to get this huge puzzle, gather a group of friends, go rent a cabin in the woods fir a week and then just tackle this. That would be so much fun.

It looks so awesome on the wall. I had to stop the video about halfway through to write down a Karen quote "I swear I should not be trusted with my own schedule when there is a puzzle around." That is so true for you but it is also so true for me. Also, I am sending hopeful vibes that Nick and Karen get in touch and show up on a video. That would be such a wonderful thing. I've started a 6000 piece puzzle of my own, I definitely relate to abandoning all of my responsibilities and just puzzling instead :D Once I sit down and start digging in the puzzle boxes, I can't stop

I finally finished mine ( bought it 6 years ago ). I lost interest in it several times so it sat untouched for over a year several times until I saw you do the 1st section and it got me interested again. I did half of section 3 and all of section 4 in a month. Now I just have to hang it.

Thanks to you I discovered my love for puzzles. My roommate got a puzzle for his birthday and from day one I was like "can I help you?", "Can we open it up now?" We were able to put it together a couple of months later and after that I borrowed it a couple of times (He is such a great friend). Then I discovered you channel and realized that... I wanted to do more puzzles, so I've been getting myself puzzles, and, these have been the firsts things I actually buy for myself, not because I need them, but because I really enjoy them. ❤️

Hello Karen! I’m from Mexico 🇲🇽 and I found your channel some months ago and I really enjoyed your videos! The part that I really loved it’s the final product and how you customize and combined the pieces (I’m sorry if I made some mistakes but English isn’t my first language and I tried to express my comments and how I feel)
that tiger part is gorgeous, but my favorite animal on the puzzle is definitely the horse. it's such a pretty horse (though tbh all horses are pretty) and I'd love to have a puzzle of just horses in that style

I have been binging your puzzle videos over the course of a few weeks. I recently decided to purge some of my other hobbies to make room for some old, forgotten hobbies. One of which is puzzling! I am a mama of 4 kids 6 and under, so it is a process. I have bought foam core and my first puzzle, but I still have some purging to do in order to make room. In the meantime, I am living vicariously through you!

Just discovered this series, it is bringing back fond memories of completing this puzzle about 5 years ago.
A tip for those who need to break up the puzzle into sections but don’t want to tape it. I personally needed to do this when I moved - twice - while in the middle of the puzzle. I used paper towel to separate each section. It’s thin enough to not take up room in the box, strong enough to hold a whole section, and easy to lift by the corners.
Eventually with puzzle sorting I get to a eff it point where the colours or patterns are hard to sort and shove them all into a pile to deal with later.

You could use command strips to hold up each section permanently. Also get on a step ladder and put the top of the puzzle as high on the wall as possible so it's blocked less by your table.
