- Samoan orator Dr Sadat Muaiava can now add the title author to the many duties he holds. His newly published book titled Lauga is a step-by-step guide into Samoan oratory and language. Muaiava hopes that the book can be of resource for those who are on their journey in learning the language and culture of Samoa. Reporter Neueli Mauafu reports.

Absolutely love this book. My cousin in NZ bought it for me and I read it in less than a day such was my eagerness to learn about lauga as living outside of Samoa meant no exposure to the culture. Fa’afetai lava mo lenei tusi ua mafai ai ona iloa le tele o mea na o ta leiloa muamua.

This is so true. I am a prodigal son to Samoan language/culture and now I am finding so much joy and pride in learning the language. Glad for this man and our Samoan tagata that care to keep us mindful of our Samoan blessing from God, that is being Samoan.
