- čas přidán 5. 07. 2024
- For 2023 we rode our ATVs onto the Marine Atlantic ferry from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland Cananda and spend 10 days riding over 1000 km (600 miles) on the West Coast. In this series you'll see some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable and all accessible by ATV. In Part 1 you'll see the road trip to the Marine Atlantic Ferry to Newfoundland, riding from Port Aux Basques to Stephenville, and Stephenville to Corner Brook. Scenic stops at the TableTop Mountains, and we drive through a crazy rainstorm in Serpentine Lake.

I love the way you engage with your audience. It feels like a conversation rather than just a video.
Thank you, I appreciate that. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely incredible! You sir have an amazing talent for storytelling. Top notch production!!!
Thanks so much for the nice post. Glad you liked it!
I was recently back home to stephenville. I bought a used pioneer 700 and put 500 km on it in a week. Went out to serpentine , corner brook and a night in gallants at a friends cabin. Enjoyed every minute . I could see in your video a small glimpse of the house I grew up in behind the dream catcher . It was called whites hotel back then. Great memories growing up in that neighborhood. I always enjoy watching your travel adventures . 👍.
Thanks Lloyd! I hope you get many years of good service and enjoyment out of your Pioneer.
Awesome I have been waiting for this
I hope you like it. Part 2 and Part 3 are uploaded as well. You can do some binge watching lol.
I love your stories very much. The 6x6 is a beast.
Greetings from Germany
THANK YOU. Wow, all the way in Germany! Greetings from Canada.
nice man! the scenery is amazing
It certainly is. It's the main reason I keep going back year after year. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video. One thing I’ve learned is have a way to patch your tires when traveling on the old railway bed. Some places have rail spikes laying around.
If you make a trip to central, the snowmobile and atv club are trimming trees and grading the old railway bed. From glennwood to Gander is a good ride.
I've hit several spikes over the years. I always keep plugs and an air compressor handy! Thanks for watching.
awesome. finally....lol......cheers from corner brook.
Ha! Cheers to you too. Thanks for watching, and posting a message.
@@EastCoastATV hope to see you this year....i work at the glynmill inn hotel....drop by...its our 100th year anniversary..
@@crantana I just looked it up, I was unfamiliar with it. It looks like a great spot! We are already booked for someplace else this summer, but maybe next year. Thanks for letting me know about it.
@@EastCoastATV lol...no problem
LOL @ even the Quebec one :)
Yeah I got a kick out of that one too.
I always look forward to your trips every year. Being from Port aux Basques, it's nice to see scenes of home.
Great Videos! You inspired us in 2018 and my wife loved it so much, we're going again this year!
I'm glad you enjoyed it so much that you're returning again! Thanks for posting.
We were there for the first time in August. You were a few days ahead of us, but we kept track of your group during our trip by checking out your updates on FB. Totally enjoyed our trip and we will be making plans very shortly to explore the West Coast in 2025! Was totally the trip of a lifetime for us! Glad we got to see NL from East to West, but now we plan to have a great time exploring the things we didn't get the chance to see. on the western side. Thanks again for all of your helpful hints and the info you provided for first-timers! :)
You're welcome. I'm glad to know you enjoyed your trip so much. I know you will enjoy the west coast trip next year!
Finally!!! I've been waiting for this series for a while. I know life gets in the way. Great video as usual.
What's it like being a celebrity now?
Thank you! I'm glad you like them. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.
Great video Patrick (I tell a great story with great photography and editing). As for the ride - We both have the same machine with similar mileage - and my experience with some mechanical challenges (and I see yours too) suggests that we're both going to have to invest in a newer one soon... You go first!
I have no idea what to get! There's so many nice machines to choose from.
Awesome just watched all 3. If you were to go up river a short ways from your hidden lunch spot my family has a camp up there . We are always there the first week of July
Thank you for the video
What a great spot for a cabin!
I love your videos, and my wife and I are planning a trip for next year. Is it necessary to have hotel reservations planned in advance, or are there plenty of rooms available on a walk-in basis?
Book in advance. You don't need to pay up front to book a room.
Thank you!
Was this trip late July? I feel like I may have passed you guys on the trail on my street and trail bike while doing the cross province trip. I recall seeing a similar 6x6 in a group!
Yes, it was.
@@EastCoastATV Darn. We followed your trip guide haha. Would have been nice to say hi on the trail. Great trip!
@@kevinturner811 Thanks. Maybe next trip.
Is it time for a new commander soon?
It was time for a new Commander a few years ago lol. My old girl keeps working and hauling me to exciting places so I'll keep her around a bit longer.
How long is the boat ride?
And greetings from gaspe
6 hrs to Port Aux Basques on the West Coast and 16 hours to Argentia on the east coast.
@@EastCoastATV are you coming back to gaspe?
I will definitely but not this year.
