This is a side of winter that I've never seen. The music feels like it's trudging through waist-deep slush, and the cues reflect that well.

the fact that the song is called SAD or Seasonal Affective Disorder makes the animation feel correct and moody

The custom assets in this are incredible! While I can't keep up with the inputs swapping between games, it is lovely just to watch everyone in their little scarfs swap back and forth between queues and presses.

I actually felt some kind of emotion after watching and listening. Impressive for a song titled SAD
Its an acronym for Seasonal Affective Disorder. SAD usually begins in fall and goes into winter where it gets worse. Some people have it in spring and summer but that's less common. During the months it's active you get really depressed (Not sad, legit depressed) and don't really want to do much of anything.

it's only after watching this I realize just how positive the rhythm heaven games normally are, even Blue Bear, being the token Sad One, ends up being lighthearted and somewhat happy in the end. basically it makes me a little sad to see all the smiles edited out. which is the point of the song. so good job. very well done.

I have SAD but like... the complete opposite. As the weather gets warmer and sunnier, I start to fall into a depressive spiral that’s so intense I can barely leave my room. I hate the heat, I hate the sun. I thrive in the cold and damp, like a mushroom.
I think that's not too uncommon actually, SAD refers to any depressive state brought upon by something seasonal, not just winter
SADness is usually related to blue, blue is in the "cold colors" part as well as winter being mainly about snow and ice.
