Jealousy is a game of the insecure. I'm so happy to see people succeed no matter who they are, could be a friend turned enemy and I would still be happy they are doing good. I left a group, I wouldnt call friends now, cause the person in charge was giving narc vibes, I'm a kind person so the minute I realized what was going on, I bounced. That baby dog is too precious! Such a sweet face. And you are such a gifted and enjoyable reader. This one had me crying because of the truth of it. So insanely spot on with every single detail that happened and is still happening. At first I felt sorry for the other person because they had no idea they weren't getting a prize like they thought. But then I realized she was very vain and mean just as you said and that she wasn't innocent in this, but actually went out of her way to seduce someone else's partner. I helped him build his business and at the first sign of stress he tossed me out, brought her in to replace me both at work and romance wise. Now he's losing everything and my opportunities and financial situation and how I feel have only improved since he left. Even though he left me not paying me what he owed me, ran through my savings and he didn't care, and set it up so I'd find out he was cheating, etc. I've talked to past clients and they say she's lazy and he is much more irresponsible since I left. They didn't want to work with him anymore and cut him out. I suspect he is losing his home soon, going to leave her as she has a toddler and he has abandoned his own child already, and move back in with his aunt 4 hours away to try to start over again.
He's youngish (31), good looking, very charming, so he'll find someone to use again. But at least he won't be around here. He'll come back when his grandmother passes, might ask around about me. But I'm long gone and finding peace again. Not only peace, but moving into thriving and meeting new people. In some ways I can thank him for being such a negative person that is sort of forced me to really see my own worth. To claim it. To own it. Next time, I will be very, very careful about who I give my love, energy, and support to. Make sure they are worth what I have to give.
A very close (ex) friend of mine listened to me confide in her for years abt a guy I cared deeply about. He was financially well off and during one of our off moments, she put her daughter onto him.
