- ✓ It doesn't get any better (or cheaper) than this. We absolutely love down to earth, honest places like this.........can you believe that for only £2.50 we were given a wrap comprising of a freshly prepared garlic butter naan bread, which was then filled with 4 pieces of freshly fried crispy falafel balls, sitting on top of a freshly cut salad of Tomato and Lettuce and then given a generous drizzle of Chilli and Tahini (Tahina) sauces. Honestly you tell me, where else can you dine out and feed a family of four for just £10:00??? with such freshly made food.
This is delicious restaurant quality vegetarian cuisine served at street food prices.

Watching the naan being made you can see that it's a very similar technique & method to the way Indian Tandoor Naan bread is made.
Fresh Nan Bakery is at: 143 High Street, Walthamstow, London, E17 7DB (it's at approximately around about the midway point of the world famous one mile long Walthamstow Market, London).

@@Stefan-yq3do It's actually worst for a chef to wear gloves than not. The reason being is that you're more prone to wash your hands more often when you're not wearing gloves, as opposed to wearing it. So essentially, somebody who is wearing gloves is touching all sorts of things and pays no attention to it, whilst the person who isn't wearing gloves is frequently washing their hands in-between touching different items.
A typical Iraqi-Kurdish restaurant. I really like to eat in such simple places that serve such delicious meals rather than other fancy ones that serve pricy tasteless food.

I ate there several times when I was in London during my studies... Trust me... the foods were great. I always get the falafel naan. I am vegetarian and all my friends are meat eaters and we were never disappointed. The people who work there are top lads. Must say.

like who asked you if you were vegetarian? These kind of foods aren't classified as vegetarian. It's just a part of everyday cuisine. Classifying foods as vegetarian actually turn people off. It's why I hate vegan branded foods. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy the those kind of foods.

They are not greedy with their price's which is a great thing in our times and the shop is soooo! clean .
In the UK we have health and safety along with environmental health who'll shut them down if it wasn't clean. We have high standards, everytime!!

Hello, I am from Iraq ... I will teach you the way to make the falafel dough. The main ingredient is the pulpy (hummus), which is put in the water for the whole night, after which it grinds and a little garlic and parsley is placed with it inside the thigh. It ended ... the first to make falafel are the Egyptians

When I went there first time I thought the prices are per 100g :) ate there dozens of time , always fresh , this people work very hard as well till late. Place is always busy , highly recommend, potatoes in naan are my fav.

Looks so good and how happily this man is making and serving customers, really hats off. The price is just too good, they could definitely get away with £5.00 for falafel wrap. This was 2017 video so the price must have gone up by 2020. Worth to pay good price and appreciate this peoples hard work.

I had my first ever freshly baked naan break in London 2 years ago. Was made in a traditional stone oven, it was the best ive ever had. Unreal with a little bit of rosemary.
