Though it’s never explained how the boy was able to move them around and use them like real limbs. His arms and legs are all fake, yet he can pick fruit, swing from trees, and walk around like an average person.)

Ahh yes dororo: Hyakkimaru (boy without a body) goes around and has to kill the 11 or 12 some odd demons in whatever religion is followed in the anime. He kills a demon he gets a body part. The father made a deal “take anything from me, my child anything just let my country be prosperous” so as long as the boy is missing some parts the kingdom will be prosperous if he regains his whole body the kingdom is doomed because the deal is off
I read somewhere, that Hyakkimaru was supposed to be a savior of these lands. He was blessed by the gods to the point of him being jesus-like figure. That's why he was sought out by demons, and that's why he survived being so malformed.

@@tanya-789 that’s a cool theory im not too sure to be honest, I know in the anime the demons took his body because it was easy for them, but didn’t take his soul because he was taken by someone before they could get him. The theory makes sense, at the same time it seems a lil weird though that the gods blessed him, considering it’d come at the cost of a nation

@@samanthawright9589 well technically the father was in the right, this anime is a classic sacrifice a person for the world or sacrifice the world for a person situation, the father sacrificed his eldest son so the people of the land don’t have to worry about disease hunger wars or any form of hardship, hyakkimaru (the son) broke that deal and sacrificed the nation for himself. The anime is a double edged sword

do it, try watching different things. i usually watch the first 2-4 episodes of an anime to get a feel for what its about before i decide to watch it all. try not to say you dont like anime as a whole because you watched a bad one. it's like saying you dont like movies because you didnt like one movie. just watch and do what you like, and have fun :)
If he didnt kill that demon then he could have had like one of the best Looking special moves, like imagine he like goes overdrive or something and the mask he wore on his face breaks and he becomes like skull rider but with only skin.

So long story short he tries killing all the demons for his body parts and when he kills the last one nothing happends.
Theres a lot of other key moments but thats the thing of it

oh my god... i remember dororo so vividly. it dropped at the same time as the third and final installment of what makes the sky blue (granblue fantasy) did. those two things are still two pieces of media i hold close to my heart to this day.
