i cant figure out how these boats run. not jet... inboard motor, under seat and then a prop down there that chops but how you getting forward and backward so quick without waiting for the prop shaft to stop spinning. man, please link me to how this works
The second he puts in nutrul to forward the prop stops. It's almost instantly because it's such tuff vegetation and mud. That's a silk drive drive trans. That's what you hear when he goes in reverse. It's one of the smoothest trans for this application. The props under the boat under a keel. Like a stump jumper. The prop is 2 blade brass wheel weedless. Big blades.
The boat in the video has a ZF transmission. As soon as the RPM’s are down you can shift back and forth between fwd/reverse. Also I run a SS wheel. Brass is a very soft metal and IDK anyone around here that runs them unless they are running straight open water. Plenty of people run nybral props though.

Coppertune depends on the set up. Mine is a big heavy boat and not built for speed. It tops out at 50mph.

Are they jets or surface drives seems a bit to weedy for jets but I can’t see a surface drive prop hanging out the back?
It’s an inboard motor with a shaft that passes through the bottom of the boat. The prop is protected by a skeg aka stump jumper
