Man I need a Last Blade 3. I really liked the first and 2nd game. It was like a Rurouni Kenshin fighting game series.
Last Blade 3 would be soooo good, unfortunately they said they don't really want to make a new one because they feel like the story was wrapped up well in 2 (Which I very much disagree with)

I have discovered the game thanks to you and recommend to some of my friends they loved it. A new fighting game dedicated friend group I have joined also loves the game. I should give some time to learn the game.
Setsunas ginormous could be seen as a weakness too, some of them are slow enough to just react parry I’m pretty sure
He can switch up his timing on pretty much any button and one of the main advantages of his j.B is that he can use it as a short hop instant overhead and still convert. The fact that a bunch of his moves are multi-hits is a much bigger deal since the guard cancel and switch guard window is WAY bigger than pretty much every other character in the game.

LB2 is my fav fighting game aesthetically speaking, and Kaede (either version) is literally my favorite character ever, so I try to make him work. Usually I like shotos, but I struggle with A!Kaede due to things you mentioned - he's not quite a typical shoto. Also, I honestly thought O!Kaede was forever unviable but this vid is giving me a shred of hope otherwise. I'll check out the server soon, I'm excited to learn more!
A.Kaede is starting to really fall off in a lot of people's opinions right now. His options are really limited and a bunch of his moves are pretty useless. We might be at a point where O.Kaede is considered better than A soon, it's just that few people are willing to put in the work to make O.Kaede look strong. I'm the only O.Kae main I know of so far lmao
I've never really viewed Shotos as any character with a fireball and dp. Typically, I see them as characters who have similar fighting styles to Ryu and Ken. The easiest example would be Ryo and Robert. Others are like Kairi and Allen from EX series.

1:48 - I was a main Kojiroh and usually played with the EX variant. When I could not for any reason, Speed was my pick. I actually don't like to play any character in Power, saving it only for Juzoh, Shigen and Hyo.
Speed Koji is her best mode by far, the extra pressure goes a long way
@@yagyufgc I just saw your video on the specifics of the meters, and I guess I just manage to pull of playing EX because I never played against other people, just the CPU.
Having the combos from Speed *and* being able to super cancel is what I love EX for, but now I understand it's not very good.
But I still won't play Power XD
@@Fenrisson Personally I say to use whatever you want, even if it's technically a worse option, there are legit reasons to pick EX which I'll definitely talk about in a video some time.

I use power kaede as a poke character with his jab, it works really well.
One of his best normals for sure, if you really want a strong poking character, Speed Washi is your man if you don't mind charge inpits. His 5A is monstrously huge and can convert into full combos lmao

The best players are really awesome to watch, my favorites are BestLastBlade2Player, Mifune, and MCElias. Would recommend checking out some of their replays
To be fair, Konryu is a boss and deadass easy to use. One hit confirm is enough to deal 100%-150% in Power mode with optimal combo+super cancel. Even a non-optimal combo could easily net you 75%. The fact that he could easily change her mode in mid fight is already broken enough. It's like you are fighting Boss Kagami in LB 1.
If he didn't have 236A he would probably be legal still LMAO
@@yagyufgc IDK man, his rekka series has MASSIVE range and damage like 75% to 85%. His anti air special already did 50% with one hit. I don't think he's any less banned without his projectile. LOL
@@zhaoyun255 Most good character and even most not good characters can hit damage cap pretty reliably, Kouryu just has an easier time doing it. He does have true 50/50s, but Lee, Moriya, & Zantetsu get more reward off theirs

I guess P-Washizuka does fit in the more defensive/patient types. I've played him mostly taking advantage of 2A into 214A pokes (because I don't have the execution to do his loops yet lol).

His 4A, 2C, and 5A are pretty good, the main thing he's missing is a really bonkers poke/combo starter like his Speed 5AA to be very aggressive lol
i still got this on my vita...very beautiful, but that learning curve. I will purchase again if on steam.
I think it's on Steam, Switch, PS4, Vita, & Fightcade. There might be others I don't know of though.

What are tournament stun rules? (5:20 onward it's mentioned)
Technically no rule affects stun, but any infinities or loops are usually either hard banned or have a limit which is usually 2 reps max, so routing into stun without breaking the rules is only really possible with O.Kaede.
