    Hey, I'm going to Moscow to study, I was wondering, with the sanctions how are international students transferring money from abroad?

    • @bsheep04
      @bsheep04  Před rokem +4

      Right now it is complicated but not impossible, some banks here are not sanctioned and therefore you are able to do a direct bank transfer. Also money transfer apps like KoronaPay allow you to do transfers with less commission, but they have to be paired with a good vpn provider. The last one is bring cash and exchange it to rubbles upon arrival and just live off of that. All that requieres a Russian bank account of one of the banks that is currently not sanctioned.

      Thank you for watching my video! ❤️
      Well, generally Moscow or any other big city like Saint Petersburg are considered safe for international students. They have many universities and a diverse population. However, like any big city, it's important to stay aware of your surroundings and take precautions. As for cities to avoid, I wouldn't say there are any cities in Russia that are particularly dangerous for international students, but some smaller cities may be less welcoming or have fewer resources for international students.
