I can't believe people are still playing this, I mean it in a good way. I played this game for the first time in 2007 and was blown away by the graphics and game mechanics. I'm surprised that this still holds up today! I wish they would make another game just like this, with the same engine, with more story and additional factions and units!

Modding is a good way for new factions there was a Fun forgotten mod but i want to see a Generals port like evolved but using the tib wars engine and mechanics

Better than RA3. Don't get me wrong I like it for reasons but it's definitely the weakest link in the Red Alert series. Granted I feel like that's common opinion in the community.
I wish kanes wrath was more popular. Such a fantastic game. Wish there was more tournaments, pro players, more content, more attention...etc... 😞

There's no reason why it can't grow from here into something bigger.
Many games have experienced growth years after launch. Most of those games weren't abused as badly by the publisher as C&C, but it's still possible!

10 years ago I always made a map full of raider buggies, but never managed to pass the first mission of kw on easiest difficulty. It was fun, I did that over n over again many times, just imagine how a 10 year old would play a game.
Fast forward to this day I'm glad you sir is still keeping the game alive. I will definitely watch them vids, all of them.

the reason we lost 1 game on backwater was because me and dune had to wait for our next round of games longer then others so I kinda just went AFk to make a cup of tea and lost 1 game on Purpose then made the games longer then they needed to be so we didn't have to wait ages in lobby 😅 ggs tho

Even though dunetiger and bikerush weren't really challenged, I love watching them in kane's wrath. Bikerush is my favorite gladiator and its so great david/dave pays to put on these shows and equally great that sybert casts it. I like how dunetiger is good about supporting bikerush. I think bikerush isn't used to getting any help. lol Perfect commentary as always from sybert. For me, someone who likes competitive rts, this is quality entertainment.

I've played the campaign's countless times but never touched skirmish or multiplayer but this looks fun!

noob question: do watch towers out DPS guardian cannons vs. vehicles? I think they would have pushed back those mass scorpion tanks better if they built cannons instead.
Guardian Canons cost more and take longer to build. Watch towers (especially with AP Ammo) do enough damage that they can't be totally ignored and can buy time for you to get out more units.
I see so I guess the photon cannons are being utilized for the same reason or is it because buzzer hives do negligible damage vs. vehicles?

In their defense (and Bike left a comment on this video explaining) the games were extended that way because it was going to be a while until the next round and instead of waiting in the lobby they played more.

Sybert do u know what happened with those final games between Bike & Dune vs eden and monster? Assuming they talked before hand and agreed to just fool around in them right?
Bike left a comment on this video that they realized they were going to be waiting a long time for the next round of the tournament so they just extended the games rather than waiting in the lobby doing nothing.
CnC 3 was such an amazing game. It's so sad they never made another one after it. NEVER
The animations in these videos looks extremely smooth but in game it feeling leggy (capped at 30 fps) am I missing anything?
The game is running at 30fps, I interpolate the footage up to 60 when I edit.

These last two games felt incredibly off (especially the second to last one). I know BikeRush explained why (kinda) but it still seems really insulting. Like "Hey, we're up two games and we're obviously gonna win so we're gonna use you for AFK fodder". Like if they asked them about it I GUESS it's okay but if not that's real scummy. Not to mention BikeRush in his response never said they made an agreement about it was just "hey DuneTiger and I didn't feel like waiting in the in game lobby so we dragged out the games against these guys".
I wish C&C ZH was still more popular.

The official servers were cut a long time ago so fans have to do the job themselves. CNC Online and Command post (the latter is used for the patches you see Sybert cast iirc) should be your go to for online play. I recommend you try out some map packs and maybe some mods as well
Yes, Google C&C Online. It's probably also possible to connect to each other via virtual LAN (Hamachi, Radmin), but I've personally never tried it.

As others said it is possible. It takes some extra steps to setup but it's all pretty straight forward.
The most common one is C&C Online, which best replicates the original online servers: cnc-online.net/en/
You can use LAN emulation clients as well and if you've already got one installed that may be your best bet.
Many people like playing on 1.02+ which is a community patch that mostly fixes bugs but doesn't mess with balance or design too much and is now only available through a separate app called Command Post which you can get here: cgf-uploads.net/

It depends on what you want to do.
People run all sizes of tournaments from for fun events with no prize just random giveaways to multi-day events with thousands of dollars up for grabs.
You can run and host a tournament yourself.
You could sponsor the prize pool and find or hire someone to run the tournament for you.
You could donate to someone so they can use it as the prize pool, such as CGF: cgf-uploads.net/

This is not on mobile, this is on desktop, however there is a mobile C&C game called Rivals that you can check out.
The other desktop games are on Steam and Origin.

It's incredible how much better the M.A.R.V. is than the Redeemer, it's not even a contest.
It's more about usage. MARV is stronger straight up (especially when garrisoned) but the rage generator on the Redeemer can be really punishing.
A flame equipped stealthed redeemer can burn down a base before you can really respond.

Nvidia Shadowplay. Used to use Fraps, but 4K recording is too much for it.
Lots of people get good results with AMD equivalent of Shadowplay or OBS.

I find Shadowplay is a good middle ground. You can crank the bitrate to the max and you get pretty good looking footage and it's low-impact on performance.

It can be, but it can also be defeated. If you're on even footing going into the late game and you scout, then you will have the tools to deal with it.

Bikerush and dune...against obviously less experienced team. Even if you get some success against Dunetiger, bikerush will melt you. I love him and hate him.

One click is a term used to refer to support powers. You unlock them with a tech structure and then you select them and click once to use them. They often do a disproportionate amount of damage for the amount of effort they take.
When I said “Scrin one click” I was probably referring to either stasis or overlords wrath.

C&C 4 is good fun. It's not a good C&C game, but if you think of it as a spin-off mini-game and not a mainline sequel (and "conclusion" to the story) it's fine.

Back when this was on Xbox 360 I made it on the top 20 leaderboard. When I played the top guys it was not even close but I could wreck most people. I never understood how the top guys could play a such a higher level I felt like I was doing everything perfect as possible but nope

Should not have matched medium-tier players with top-tier players. If it was done randomly then it shouldn't be. It's not fun to be fodder against top players and seems like a way to get popular players to fight each other by eliminating medium-tier players first.
It's an open tournament so anyone can compete.
If I understand you correct you want a tournament where the finals would be the best of the top level players vs a mid level player, which is an unusual philosophy for running a tournament. You should organize this tournament though, if those are the rules you want.

However, in the context of this tournament, I would not say the example you gave is representative of what I said. Rather it is an extreme. From my perspective and without offense to the participants, I see two teams that are not as well-known than the others. These two teams could have faced each other off because as one may expect, they were outclassed in their respective matches. The winner could then at least advance to the semifinals. Whether they could make it to the finals is anyone's guess.
Lastly, to use the response of "do it yourself, then" definitely conveys that this piece of criticism is very much not wanted. Can't blame you for that, seeing the amount of work and resources put into this, but it is the equivalent to an author saying "write your own book then, if you don't like this particular part". Or "produce your own movie, if you don't like this scene."
But there's no issue with saying that. It does however show that we do not see eye-to-eye and there is no point continuing this dialogue.
It's not that criticism isn't wanted, it's that your tournament philosophy is different from what tournament organizers typically want. That's why I say you should organize a tournament with your rule set. That would be a good way to test if players and viewers alike want a rule set like you're describing. Organizing a tournament is definitely a lot easier and more accessible than writing a book or producing an entire movie. There was a tournament just last weekend by a first time organizer, and another tournament was sponsored by an individual who wanted to see a team tournament.

If you add up all 4 tournaments it'll probably end up being 20 hours of videos.
