Yes but they are not living in the street. I was a very poor person in the US in the early 80s, and at that time, there was a sort of social contract in that, if you worked a job at all you could afford some place to live. It might be one room and a kitchen and bathroom you shared with 5 other people but you had a place. Now, where I am, San Jose California, there are literally several thousand people living in the street just within the city at any given time, I think the official figure is 7000. Many are educated, have job skills, etc. Many of them work at jobs. But they sleep in tents or under bridges, get a shower once in a while at a charity, etc. I don't care if in Israel when I move there I have to live in small place, maybe have no running water, and live on minimum wage (min. wage in Israel amounts to what I make now, and israel's got cheaper food, cheaper everything) and get around by bike because that's the way I live now. I am one of the elite where I am because I get to sleep under a roof. I don't want to end up out on the street which more and more people are having happen to them in the US.
Good God I know more homeless engineers than homed and working ones .... I'm not exactly some inept putz myself, long tech histories in my family and I only have work part-time for a friend helping him sell surplus stuff on Ebay, and live in the warehouse the stuff is kept in. Make what's Israel's minimum wage maybe slightly more. I swear I'll love it in Tel Aviv ... I'll get to see the beach more than once every 5 years or so, won't have hordes of people asking me for spare change, hell I hear there are even jobs there. You can wait for the real estate bubble to burst but it's still going to be a miserable place .... overrun with Indians and Chinese who only hire other Indians and Chinese,,, you can forget about having a yard if you have kids, forget about even halfway decent schools unless you pay college-tuition prices for them, seriously, if you've been doing OK in the Midwest, go for it. One caveat: California is very very very Gentile. If you are Jewish, you will not be going to a better place by moving here. And with Trump being elected, trust me, we're knee-deep in Nazis here. California only has the image of being a liberal state - it's not. We produced Nixon, Reagan, and many of the leading lights of the white surpremacist movement. If I were a right-wing Christian and perfectly white, I'd be heading for "flyover" country now. Because I'd be among my people and at a much more favorable pay to cost of living ratio. But I myself do not want to live among people who voted for a guy who wants me dead. Hell even my boss here, a white, right-wing Catholic, voted for Trump. I can't convince him that 'not trusting Hillary' is not a good reason to vote for a fascist anti-Semite. I can't go back to Hawaii where I grew up because they hate *all* white people, jewish or not. That leaves Israel. Yeah I'll be poor in Israel but I'll be poor here. At least in Israel I won't end up on the street or be subject to things like restrictions on jobs, travel, residence, etc., every way they can dance around while not actually enacting pogroms - those will be in his 2nd term lol. I actually feel things are better in Israel ... you have to know someone, be related to someone, have 5 years of experience in things only existing for 3, etc etc etc to get a job here in the US. In Israel, they ... just ... hire. Ethan and Hila of h3h3 have talked about this.
Awesome video! Are there trains that go into Jerusalem? I would love to go on a Holy Land tour and watch and ride Israeli trains while I'm at it. Greetings from the USA (FYI, I believed Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel before the State Department did).
Third world countries must learn & ask help from the first world countries to develop their countries rather than boasting about their traditions etc, war, conflicts etc, with neighboring countries. Their uncleanness, poorness etc, is a result of their stupidity.
@@nourdarwish4753 But Jewish people were there from the very beginning all over in the middle east & they faced very bitter experiences with Mohammadenc, concentration camps, etc. & even today many enemies & my understanding is they are extraordinarily intelligent that's why many are jealous about them.

derlust No. This is a train pulled by a by a Stadler Euro (EMD) 3000AC diesel-electric locomotive. This rail line (Sharon Railway) is scheduled to begin undergoing electrification (25kV 50Hz OCS) by the end of 2020.
All railways in Israel are standard gauge, 1435 mm, including the heavy rail network and the LRT systems in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv (the latter is currently under construction). The first lines were narrow-gauge, constructed during the Ottoman Empire era, but the main network was later built & converted to standard gauge by the British. Israel later expanded that network, while the remaining narrow-gauge lines (former Hejaz Railway branches) were abandoned.
Very interesting.I grew up in Southern Africa where the lines are narrow gauges.Pity they put in the narrow gauge from the start because it’s a big expense to convert over. The new rail line from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem will be a nice journey.
I like video from a train in Austria, Germany or Switzerland. There is not enough garbage along the railway near the construction sites. Israel is a rich country, it is worth watching the cleanliness of the buildings. If the developer on the territory of such a garbage chaos, then fined him and force to remove garbage from the territory.
