Beautiful. Here on January 1st, 2024. Than you for posting this beautiful recording. One of the greatest waltzes ever.
Ich liebe den Skater Walzer!!! Es ist ruhig, elegant und frohlich!!!❤
A masterful, clean recording. Thank you for posting it!
Just love this... It really brings joy. This piece is another proof that music is universal.
It was the first Waltz I was taught to play...sweet.
Ich bin frueher zu dem Skater Walzer Schlittschuh gelaufen,...auf dem gefrorenen See, der Schlittschuhbahn in unserer Stadt, es war wunderschoen!
I cook while listening to this song.
My local radio station used to play this every morning when I was little.. its extremely nostalgic
I knew it! I would have been shocked if you hadn't put this up! Though it may not have been explicitly said before elsewhere, thank you again for sharing this fantastic music with the rest of us here on youtube--it truly is the last of its vanishing world--thank you!
My ballet studio held graduation performances at level 3, level 6, and level 8. The dance to this piece was a rite of passage, the crowning glory of the Level 3 graduation and I will remember it forever... Even if I still get back cramps from listening to it lol
first hearing this from antarctic adventure..
now hearing it orchestrated.
beautiful.
Thanks! I'm in Burlington, VT (USA) and we had our first winter snow fall today, so I'm glad to find this piece for today! It's also Emile Waldteufel's birthday!
I can remember back in the early 60s they used to play this music 🎶🎵in the Palace cinema on Tottenham High Road. The music used to be played before the starting of the film,I used to deliberately go early just to here this music before the start of the film matinee, mind you this is a long time ago, this was between 1964 and 1965 I had just arrived in the UK from Jamaica 🇯🇲. I was about 16 then.
❤❤❤❤❤

We've played this in our youth orchestra last year or a year before...
Maravilhoso
Hey! We’ve stopped falling.
My school orchestra's playing this for the concert this Saturday, but we always mess up at 5:44 :( Also, the fact that we're a string orchestra doesn't help. Well, wish us luck!
goodluck!
So how did it go?
Lets say ArtemisDragon0917 was 18 when this comment was posted, now Artemis would be 31!
Oh, how I loath stories left open-ended. 😒

für's Hochladen !!
And so the penguin begins his adventure ^_^
I agree tho. But this way,it kinda seems like a intro into the surrounding of the skating ring(kinda snowy at night feel)
Then somehow the focus goes off to the sky ,then after the pause, focus on the skaters.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Coincidentally, this waltz played in the Mickey Mouse cartoon On Ice where he was skating.
You deserve likes
Such a beautiful melody. Reminds me of the hymn, Jesus is Coming Again

This is the song they play in Survival of the Idiots in SpongeBob 😭🍿👌🏽
@awefhiwefiuwafiuhai actually, all the music waws written by koji Kondo, all original music. it reminds me of the Yule Ball scene in Harry Potter too
for some reason, the tempo sounds too slow before 1:00, then it hits the right tempo the rest of the way
@natesquared
You know I never knew Koji made the music for Zelda AND Mario?
Hi.
I want to know if you know who owns the master of this song?
