Honestly, Ramee making some good points here. What was the point of the shake up if outside of rank, nothing changed? Literally, all the cops with issues are getting rehired without any oversight xD
the thing is, Koil gave Soze (His own character) and Sam Bass power to deny any hiring.. even if they are not in their agency.

Conan the only command member who willing to strike his boys when they fuck up. It’s crazy that they need a crim main to fix the shitty PD.
You do realize that Kyle was the one who gave Koil the idea to demote everybody into the UPD, right? He was willing to FIRE his boys, but other departments immediately picked them up again and made the gesture pointless. Then he caught all the flak for the way things were being done while Baas was the one making every decision for the whole PD. This revisionist history on YT is mind blowing to me.
@@gmoney9469 What does temporarily firing them do? They got fired just like everybody else and it still changes nothing. If HC and command members recruit the same shitty cops and allow them to do the same dumb shit without striking them then you end up with the same PD just shifted around in different departments. We talking about strikes and actual repercussions for actions.
@@-6ix559 I mean what does temporarily striking them do? The worst thing that can happen from your strikepoints is being fired at the end of the day...
Being fired is kind of the biggest punishment a departement head can dish out since it removes your cop prio for 2 weeks if you instantly get picked up by another departement. Anything beyond that like being Blacklisted from PD or banned/ prio being lowered is up to the admins and is beyond Kyles control.
And the PBSO HC was firing a lot of people they liked OOC like Gunner, Bloom, Charlotte and I think Jemma are the ones that come to mind.
@@-6ix559 Just think things through. Cops are suspended if they get enough strike points. If they keep getting suspended because of strike points they are eventually fired. So skipping those two steps and going straight to firing would be more serious of a repercussion than getting strike points.
The problem wasn’t the punishment of firing. The problem is that it was immediately made useless by other departments. Being forced to rp as a civ for a month before having a CHANCE of being rehired, is the kind of punishment that would make people think twice. Not a 3-day suspension.
10:18 Kinda why Baas is part of the problem & just cannot see it. The PD needs an Oscar Oscar Charlie to learn how to RP, not just to be the RP police.

You think Baas has any power to do anything OOC? Most of the change need to be voted or vetoed by Koil.
Baas literally say in this clip that Koil approved Mantis(Toretti) to hire all his old department back.
Baas is dyslexic. It explains everything. Including him thinking old cops can learn but new cops cannot. "You can't teach an old dog new tricks", is they saying. So Baas reads that backwards. Makes sense. And also makes sense why this who PD wipe is going backwards.

@@Fac3bon3s Well done mate i can copy paste off of google as well. Dyselxia is a learning disablility, the main symptoms of that is struggling to read, write and process information depending on the severity. I don't know how you can read that and think someone with dyslexia will read a sentence and somehow manage to read it completely backwards. It's a common learning disability and most adults with it can function next to normal fine with it.
@Fionntan _ bruh. Dyslexia has many forms. Not all are the same. And yes, some people will read things in reverse. Not everyone. But some. Try not taking a joke literally next time. You may begin to enjoy things more and not suck the fun out of every single thing.

alright so here's the thing. the current PD has been going like it has for almost 3 years now, this is the end of year 2 of 3.0. if baas seriously thinks just ONE week of being fired and then re-hired right back to the same positions is really going to change anything then that man is genuinely on the most potent copium imaginable.
one week bans from the whole server dont even have much of an effect on certain peoples behavior. i mean shit take wrangler for example. dude was banned for like 2 months, came back and was pretty chill for a couple weeks, didnt hear much about him but didnt take him long to fall right back into the same boat he was in and nobody wanted to interact with him again.
point is i genuinely dont think a week of being "fired" really changed anything other than the command structure which only got about 50% changed. its the same officers minus the ones nobody even knew to begin with because they hardly came on duty or the server at all or were brand new and too shy to interact with anyone. those people are going to be actually fired but all the cops everyone complained about are 100% still in PD and they will 100% get their ranks back and this same problem will be a thing 3 months from now and onwards.
