I have out of nowhere got the giggles in the middle of the night it wakes my husband up and the more he gets annoyed the more I laugh and have to bite the pillow, when I start I can’t stop and have been sent to my daughter’s old room in disgrace- still laughing! 🤣😂😹

Oh, Sherry......thank you for the giggles today! Much needed...I giggled right along with you. I am currently knitting a linen/cotton summer tee, another pair of socks (my fourth pair for the year) and a shawl that I had to rip out last year and put the yarn in the naughty corner. We have made up and are friends again so all is going well with the shawl. I am reading Sense and Sensibility. I just finished binge watching Annika. I loved that series. The garden is doing well. The peonies right outside my door make me pause for a good "inhale" before I continue on down the sidewalk. We have wild bunnies that sit amongst the peonies and irises or right beside the sidewalk. We just have a wee chat with them as they munch on grass and clover, never running away to hide from us. Love it! Have a great week! Thank you for your podcasts.....they always make me smile.

What pattern did you go for with the summer tee? I've been thinking about a simple pattern. I often have a large amount of yarn and knitting in the naughty corner!

@@SherryIris "Bunnies Among the Peonies" could be an adorable color way. :O) The summer tee is Doral by Berroco. The cotton/linen has been a challenge. I am not used to such slippery yarn. I was used to my own Cormo handspun from my own sheep with the two jumpers I knitted this past winter. Guess it was time to expand my yarn knowledge with the linen. Last night I finished up the second sock of a pair and the Taina shawl I have been knitting on what seems like forever. With two projects done maybe I will clean the house today!!! Or maybe cast on another project. Bets as to which it will be???? HOT and HUMID here right now. The chickens, sheep and llama have been taken care of for the morning. Time for a cuppa and trying to gear myself up for a grocery run. I'd rather be knitting!!! When I get back I will settle in for another cuppa and watch your latest video. Your videos just make me so happy and calm. Thanks for sharing your life with us.

I've been listening to a thriller Three Lives Down by Rachel Amphlett, the first Dan Taylor novel is White Gold. I've been working on a cross stitch sampler and will be attending a retreat in Hobart Tasmania this weekend which I'm looking forward to. I'm also hoping to get some more work done on my slow stitching project.
How was your retreat? Hope you loved it. Where did you listen to the thriller? Was it audible or BBC? xx
