How Smartphone can Improve the Quality of Life at Scale

We are elated to learn that recently what we do in GO-JEK is acknowledged by the UNSGSA, a UN Secretary-General focuses on development through financial inclusion.
In its latest annual report UNSGSA mentions how GO-JEK, through GO-PAY has set a great example of private sector impact on financial inclusion. Thank you for your recognition UNSGSA, it has encouraged us to work harder in our social mission.
During her visit to Indonesia, UNSGSA Queen Máxima of the Netherlands learned through GO-JEK drivers and merchants how we built financial inclusion into our value proposition.
This is in line with statement by our CEO and co-founder Nadiem Makarim delivered during World Economic Forum on ASEAN in Hanoi recently.
There are three things that Nadiem said could be provided by smartphone to people living in poverty live or slightly above the poverty line are: access to cheap products, access to financial inclusion and access to jobs.
Under GO-PAY system hundreds of thousands GO-RIDE drivers have been facilitated to have access to bank and get the advantage of saving and credit services.
