gotta love a teacher who has the opportunity to teach what looks like 100 people and "teaches" most of the lesson with his back to everyone, uses music too fast for beginners, and never breaks down step ... the LA zydeco step is a pretty cool zydeco variation...its a simple cross front, cross back to each side ... good teaching would start with walking thru step pattern to allow "slower" learners a chance to get a little muscle memory, ....so they could have it broken down and catch on .... even for a couple of minutes makes a big difference ... people without a lot of dance foundation, experience can get very confused and frustrated with this type of "lesson" especially at a festival... alas alack find it very dissapointing to see this....it says AJ Gibbs TEACHING... I don't think so, at best demonstrating......

AJ is a good dancer but I totally wondered why he didn't start off with slowly going through basic steps, giving folks a chance to grasp the concept ...he was doing waaaaay too much
