It's No Mystery. Mama Joyce, like my Mom, raised Kandi to be Independent, Kandi was performing with Xscape while in school but she went back and walked to get her diploma. I think the fact that he is into sports helped actually cuz it was genuinely a new story to this audience so she was def thorough wit the history and backstory of what happened. If u had never heard of her, xscape, or their story this would be great to watch.

I loved this interview and how Shannon made Kandi feel comfortable to speak freely! There was no awkwardness at all, very chill and laid back. It felt like a conversation instead of an interview. Sidenote: also love the reactions of men when they get all the "tea." 😂😂 the "she did what now!?" And "she put it out there like that!?" Had me cracking up!! This was a superb interview. I respect how respectful Shannon Sharpe was to asking those tough questions (that we all wanted to know), which allowed Kandi to feel comfortable enough to answer them. To that note, I can definately see a movie or series about the group Xscape and hopefully it will be made soon. This interview was a good reference point for some details that need to be added in the show (including the two sisters coming to the meeting with their white wigs) lol. Again, kudos to Mr. "Shay Shay" and for selecting Kandi on being the 1st woman to grace your set. God bless!

It’s funny because Tocha was in the older group and that last min decision to move her to the younger group changed everything-I wonder if the group would have had less drama if she had stayed with the older girls.
