Maybe a minor suggestion, ditch the computer, robot, ‘bot’ voice and use an actual human voice(like your own) and maybe the videos would feel more authentic and you might not have discrepancies with the audio not matching what the video is showing!!!

Guess that's what happens when Ruger has both a pistol and rifle named American. Geez this was confusing until I realized what they did.
I hate to knock Henry because they are wonderful people BUT!
I bought a Henry big boy in 44 magnum. I couldn't hit anything with it. I sent it back to the factory and they re barreled it and did head space etc. When it came back they certified it's performance with one particular round which is nearly impossible to get. Fortunately I have an acquaintance who works at the factory and procured one box. It did shoot those and only those loads well. Of the many others I tried including hand loads attempting to duplicate the magic round NONE worked. I sold the rifle. I later found out the problem was common to the point where Henry in a partnership came up with ammo that will work in this rifle and caliber, I believe it's called hammer down.
Once again any round that would work in my rifle is impossible to procure. Interestingly I bought an old Winchester 94 in 25 / 35 made in 1904 that will still drive tacks..

Everyone loves the Henry because it was American made. The new Marlins are dood. The problem with Winchester-there guns are made in Japan by people who are not allowed to own guns. Most Americans work paycheck to paycheck. Colt is way too expensive. The SW is cheaper than the colt. The bolt action rifles you speak of we don’t buy . They’re too expensive. Lots of people want iron sights on the rifle. Marlin needs to have high quality iron sights. I will not buy a gun without iron sights. Dominant gun is AR rifle now. Use this and cover the whole market.
Since this video is about most sold guns, obviously some of us can afford them and buy they, hence they are included in the video. Not all of us are buying cheap AR’s either.
The Miroku made Winchesters are just fine, and well made.
I have one in .450 Marlin, and my one complaint is the modern safeties engineered into a lever action, no doubt to assuage the potentiality of liability.
My Browning lever (.358 Winchester, et al) is traditional in that regard, having no safety. The hammer is the safety. It and the operator. Old school.

Hunted many years in Japan. Japan has its share of hunters with women hunters being a big part of new hunters. The shoot trap and skeet too.
They are limited in the number of guns they may own and want quality. Miroku/Browning are excellent guns and well represented in Japan.

I’ve been a big browning xbolt fan for years. They’re accurate and reliable and very well balanced. I think they’re a lot better than the Remington 700 and CZ. The only negative is the heavy trigger but you can just install an aftermarket mcarbo spring and fix that easily and cheaply.

Something I wander about, is how well does old wheel guns like Colt Trooper iii (4"l and Taurus m85 (2") compare to modern guns.

Ironic. I have these or will be getting them. The browning is good but I took off my scope and put it on an AR-10. I didn't like the limit of a 3 round mag, and it was not portable enough. I would rather have an Anaconda .44 rather than a Python. After a year of research I'm definitely getting the 1301. It's said in California Jurys look more favorably on shotguns rather than AR's

All was going well until you got to the Roger American. The voice was talking about handguns while showing rifles. The American is a rifle, chambered in almost any cartridge.

Henry dose have a side load gate on it now on some of the guns have them some don’t.

Why would you show a .41 Mag gun? Is that a best seller? The caliber is not popular, how can it be representative of a "best seller" in lever action rifles? Many, if not most, people buy a pistol caliber rifle or carbine to match up with a handgun in the same caliber. It would be useful to have some figures for sales to back up your claims. By the way, the difference in MSRP between the .41 Mag and .44 Mag is $18, and the .44 Mag is the version with side gate loading, whereas the .41 Mag version does not have that feature making it much slower to load.
I’m highly disputed in the Wood quality and finish or i would be buying Henry’s. Very dull wood finish or perhaps the quality of the wood grain is low so they don’t want to have ahigh quality finish.
.357 magnum lever action rifles are hard to find. They are excellent deer rifles.

I’m ok on pistols, shot guns, 30/30s, golden boys 38/357…. I don’t know a lot about guns, I feel like I know just enough to get me in trouble in a gun discussion. What I want is a rife that’ll shoot 800-1200 yards and have knock down and killing power. I need it to be midrange on price. Not too worried about the ammo pricing, after I’m use to the gun I want need to buy ammo every week. Any one know what kinda rifle would fit my needs. I’d want a bolt action rifle. After I get the rifle I’ll look in to learning about scoops. FYI I live in East Texas and have never felt like I’d ever need any thing bigger then a 35/35 which I have and haven’t shot it in 20 years.

@@Firedog-ny3cq the 35 is the biggest caliber I own and I bought it to hog hunt with. I’ve also have a couple of Golden Boys, ones a 22 long and the other is 38 / 357 and I have Marlin 30/30 and it’s the one I use in the brush…. The reason I’m looking for a larger rifle (bolt Action) is I’d like to learn to shoot long distance and to me 800/1200 yards would be long distance.

New Python is made by CZ, it's not even close to the originals. The finish will never be the Royal Blue that Colt is famous for. Is Line 45 paid by Colt for advertising, or has he not extensively shot both versions? My 1968 Python has been extensively shot and functions and looks like new.
