I'm a Christian and I respect Motionless In White . I actually like the song a lot. Yes (in my opinion) the video is slightly offensive with him calling God worthless . But I'm not going to get all butt hurt because while I didn't really like the fact he called God worthless I am not going to go off and be immature . I agree with him saying it's stupid that people use religion or saying they are fans of certain things so they can be assholes . That's stupid and idiotic. I like the song because it is saying it's stupid to use things to hurt others and I Chris himself even said he wasn't trying to offend anybody. Religion , race , gender or sexuality . Now anybody who comes on here to be a little whiney brat needs to go away and think about their life. Now if as Christian if I can take this is a polite manor I think everybody else should . I've always believed Chris wasn't referring purely to god being worthless but to repulsive people that use god as a excuse to be horrible. This song kinda speaks a message. They stand for who they are and how they have been wronged, and how people put them down and want them to fail. Honestly a lot of Christains have a holier than thou mentality and it is not right. They shame the faith I believe in. And I actually have been where these guys are at, and understand their cries. They don't want to fit in, they want to belong if understood correctly. So yeah this song is pretty fucking awesome and shows that people still aren't afraid to speak when they have been wronged.

Honestly, I really like this song and I definitely agree with the lyrics (for the most part) even though I am a Christian and go go church regularly. It's all about letting people believe what they want and be themselves and not let other people get in their way.

Okay I don't know about you all, but I think that MIW was not calling God worthless. Just their messed up version of Him. One of the posters in the video said "Jesus Hates You" and from what I was always taught Jesus and God never would be able to Hate anyone. (The Devil himself used to be an angel before he went his own way and fell from Heaven. And God still doesn't hate him.)
Christians make those signs, they're used for everything. Especially for Gay Pride stuff. MIW was didn't have a "messed up version" of him, His radical followers are the ones with the messed up version. MIW is calling the Radicals' version worthless, because what kind of a god is gonna make you how he wants you to be and then hate you for it?

So I watched this video cuz I'm really torn about this band. I really connect with most of the lyrics and whatnot. And I understand religious bigotry is a big fucking problem but I still believe in God. That being said, the God I believe in is all loving and all understanding. So when the lyric "your worthless God" comes up, I wanna say that he's referring to a bigot's version of what God is. Cuz my God ain't that one. Feel me? This song has gotten me through so much.When I felt like everything was crashing around me and no one cared this song and this band have been here for me. They saved my life. Multiple times and they are the only thing that makes me feel normal and okay.
I'm a Christian and when I first listened to song I wasn't that sure and kind of scared about it and uncomfortable but when I started listening to more songs by them I really liked and understood what they were singing about and then when I came back to this song and read the lyrics and understood it more I like this song, he is basically yelling at all the people that are judging him and are being hypocrites and there are tons of people like that in the world and I would be saying the same thing back at those people I may have not built this place but I'm going to protect it from judgemental hypocritical people like you and others that judge people just because they look a certain way.
