What a wonderful idea for using old maps. I have saved allthe maps we used going across the US. I couldn't bear to throw them away. Now I'm glad I have them. We will have big storms here in Florida soon enough. Summer is coming.

Love rain storms and thunderstorms, my grandpa used to say it was God and his angels bowling in heaven everytime we had a thunderstorm.

It's been stormy here in Ohio, too. We've had so much rain that some of our rivers have over flowed their banks. Our backyard is now a swamp! 😂 I love those instrumental music cds that have the rain and storm sounds in them. I found one that has ocean waves and rain sounds in it. That one is my favorite. This Florida girl misses the beach. I love old maps and how you are using this for a journal. I can't wait to see what ekse you do with this journal. ❤😊
That is a great idea for using old maps. I spent my day putting pockets in a graduation gift journal. We had a cool day but it still melted our snow. Things are looking green. Hugs

I have two channels, crafting and home and yes it is a lot of work moving the camera constantly 😅 I didn't know you live in Alabama, I've been through there once,with my husband on a semi truck trip, Winnipeg is about an hour from where I live. ❤

I’m in Northern California, and miss thunder storms. We don’t get much thunder!it’s was sunny and 83 today. I’m from Illinois and always call my family in Illinois and rub our nice weather to them.
Love the pages! I’m making a travel journal and didn’t know the best way to include all the maps we’ve collected during our travels 😊

I organized my quilting studio. Sorting out fabric bins and getting fabric done by creating small bolts of the fabrics onto comic book boards. Emptied 8 totes today and arranged them by color. Love your map pages. 😊

Hi Edith. I'm watching you while I have a late lunch. We had a big thunderstorm here last night. Iam in Queensland Australia. Its a fine day here but starting to cool down as we go into our winter. We live in the coldest part of the state so we get plenty of frosts. This morning I did some work on my coffee journal. It should be finished over the weekend. Yes Ontsrio has lots of pine trees. My home town city planted 2 white pines in honor of my parents at the park named after my Dad. Love what you did with the maps.

Hi Edith. I used to comment often. Have been watching but quiet the last few months. Haven't been able to craft for a while and miss it. Hope to be able to get back to it. Dealing with health issues and getting used to my husband being retired. Been a challenge. Enjoy watching even if I can't do it. We are getting ready for nicer weather. Have had lots of rain this year. Had a patio cover built with new furniture outside so that will be nice. My husband is planting in the garden. So sorry for all the FB problems. So very frustrating and heartbreaking. Hold on to the memories in your heart. One day you won't need them anymore because you will be with him again. ❤️🙏

I was blessed with amazing parents who took us on 3 different 2 week trips across America. We carried our popup camper and stayed at KOA campgrounds, and since it was the 1970s, there were Stuckeys everywhere & we would stop for gas, lunch & souvenirs.
In those days, when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would always answer to be the first missionary to go to the moon, and own a Stuckey’s. 😎
We ended up going to 42 states, as well as Canada to see Niagara Falls.
I have all the maps that we used, & I’ve been gathering all the information pages from places we visited, tickets, and of course all the pictures.
My plan is to make a journal/scrapbook and I was obviously going to use the maps. But what you showed us is perfect, I can put many of the tickets, and other papers in the pockets.

ps-there are channels here on CZcams of rain, thunderstorms, etc and some are black screen, while others have pictures, etc.
They’re perfect to go to sleep with, especially when you love the sounds!!!

I am in Scotland, and we have had some real mixed weather. 1 minute, it's raining. The next, the sun is out, but it's getting warmer, so that's something ❤

Winnipeg Ontario gave me a chuckle...I do the same with your country...I live in northern Ontario Canada and Winnipeg is actually in Manitoba ... the next Province over to the west of us....and yes we have pine trees and every other tree native to Noth America...
