pilots that have the natural feel of a aircraft like this man is far and few between him flying his like some one playing a fine stratovarius fiddle hitting all the sweet notes
I have always loved the Ag-Cats. That is all you used to see in our area. That one is Garrett powered right? Which turbine engine do you prefer the Garrett or the PT-6?
Yes that is Garrett powered. It is a -6 with a turbomax crossover duct. I like qualities of both, the Garrett for the immediate power and reverse, the PT-6 because I can feather it and talk to the ground crew without shouting and using hand signals.
South Georgia Farming hi, where in South Georgia are you located? I first got involved with ag flying in South Georgia years ago. We were working with the Peanut House in Nevels. Worked with Buddy Anderson down that way, one heck of a great guy.
Well to get technical these aren't true "wingovers". A true aerobatic wingover would be extremely dangerous in this situation but the turns in this video are completely coordinated and safe.
Amazing, didnt realize how sharp you turn or looks like your sideways as you turn. Whoa!

like the camera angle catches the control surfaces really well..thanks for sharing
Love watching these planes from childhood and still do. always wondered what that small propeller is for?
The small propeller you’re speaking of turns the spray pump.

Very cool view and angle!
Awesome video
Very nice.
NicE video Patrick.
that was epic
What do you recommend to someone interested in this as a career?
how long did it take to perfect that turn and be on target for next spray run? thanks for the movies.
I'm not really sure. If you have a good natural feel for an airplane it wont take too horribly long to get in a good rythm.
Is this race track?
Yes
Aloha,,,, Was This Airplane Destroyed In a Crash,,, IN,,,, ??? "94"
I'm not sure but it is a good possibility. I've flown several Ag Cats that were previously destroyed in a different life :)
