Okay, time to talk about the headlines of the week 1) The trailer for Saving Bikini Bottom = Since the show just turned 25 today, I'm sort of dreading of the arrival at this spinoff movie. From the leaks and reactions that were said back in January, it most certainly left a sour taste on everyone. In fact, many SpongeBob fans completely said it's a painful depiction of the franchise currently. In other words, let's get this nasty patty over with like no tomorrow!! 2) Shrek 5 coming in two years = If directors Walt Dohrn and Brad Ableson know their strengths on this 5th installment, then we'll be in decent hands. Plus, I would advise those guys on getting writers Paul Fisher and Tommy Swerdlow if the production is facing story problems. Either way, see you in Summer 2026 folks!! 3) The Illumination moment = Kudos to the whole studio on having their flagship franchise becoming the latest billion dollar empire. While true Despicable Me 4 left myself a little disappointed and Minions 3 is rather unnecessary, at least the creative team knows what works with a crowd pleasing audience and pays off well financially. However for my thoughts on the 3rd minions installment, please be a straight forward parody of Better Call Saul. We all wanna see the rise and fall of Vector amongst others of course. 4) I don't wanna get political again and will skip this story. 5) Wow, just wow!! This final story left me nothing but betrayal and almost disgusted what Kyle was up to all this time. When I saw the news on Sunday morning, it was the first time where my jaw dropped for 5 minutes straight and started to shake badly. Either way, I did my part like most people of unfollowing and blocking Kyle through my socials altogether. He should be locked away forever because stuff like this is truly illegal and gross!!! However, my sympathy easily goes to the hurt victims. Those people are gonna get the support they need. Either way, I am no longer gonna watch Mighty Magiswords again or if I do, it's just to fully separate the art from the artist.

I think what’s really so far the core problem with this movie other than being a rip off of Finding Nemo is that, well to put it simply, it’s too much like SpongeBob, same reason why people weren’t happy with Kamp Koral and The Patrick Star Show. Keep in mind that it’s a spin off film starring Sandy. You think the tone would feel different but no I guess it’s not the case as they have the gang involved with Sandy. Speaking of Sandy’s family, I don’t know if this is true to the canon of the first 5 seasons or not. Maybe it’s better than what the trailer’s presenting but we’ll see. 2. Now that it’s official, lemme clarify this now and I don’t know if it’s a hot take or not. Compared to Toy Story 5, that’s the one I feel the most cautious about in terms of animated 5th installments. I want to be fully excited for this Shrek 5, I really do. I mean, I’m sure it’ll be a solid picture but the names attached to the director and screenwriter credit is what’s holding me back from the excitement. I’m not sure if they are the right fit for Shrek 5. That’s why I felt more appreciative of Andrew Stanton when we heard that he’ll direct Toy Story 5 as much as I’m cautiously optimistic and continuing to keep an open mind for it. Will this be good as the first two Shrek movies and Puss in Boots 2? I don’t know. It’s a tall order but we shall wait and see. From Illumination founder, Chris Meledandri producing this, to having Boss Baby writer writing the script, to even having Walt Dorn directing the fifth installment. I do understand about his latter’s history with the franchise as he did serve as story artist and voicing the main villain Rumpelstiltskin in the fourth installment, but he is also directing of the Trolls sequels especially the last film, Trolls Band Together which I thought it was bad. I want this to be good in the veins of the first two Shrek films and Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, but with those people in charge, I feel like it could be on the levels of the last two Shrek movies or Kung Fu Panda 4, although I could be wrong. I know Trump deserves to be in prison for a long time and should not president again for this coming election but I don’t want him to get killed as the assassination attempt on any political rival is not okay. No matter who political side you’re on, political violence needs to be condemned, if not, more political people from both Democrats and Republicans are going to get killed and even Trump might get killed again if there was another assassination attempt on him. This needs to stop. 5. I never watched Mighty Magiswords, but I had no idea that creator of that series was arrested for having pictures of child pornography, which is a disgusting thing for this guy to do. I don’t know what else to say other than showing my heart to the victims about this news and that pretty much it. Just another bad news to hear.

As one of the few people who cared about Mighty Magiswords (not the best CN show ever made, but still has a special place in my heart) and has seen the shorts and half of its first season when it was really new at 13, this definitely has ruined my day. It did and did not surprise me at the same time, but like WTF Kyle?
When hearing this news about what Kyle did, it was shocking Excpelly when Cartoon Network didn’t have that since the Clarence incident, but still he now like John K, Chris savino, Dan Schneider justin rolaind and Vic miginola. Might magiswords is one of those shows that it’s best not to look up the creator.
As someone who saw Saving Bikini Bottom back in January, yeah the film sucks. Like I think we owe Sponge On the Run an apology lol. But in all seriousness, this movie made me feel like Nickelodeon doesn’t know what to do with SpongeBob spin-offs. Like a Plankton movie sounds good conceptually but it’ll be the same quality as this one.

As one of the few people who cared about Mighty Magiswords (not the best CN show ever made, but still has a special place in my heart) and has seen the shorts and half of its first season when it was really new at 13, this definitely has ruined my day. It did and did not surprise me at the same time, but like WTF Kyle?
When hearing this news about what Kyle did, it was shocking Excpelly when Cartoon Network didn’t have that since the Clarence incident, but still he now like John K, Chris savino, Dan Schneider justin rolaind and Vic miginola. Might magiswords is one of those shows that it’s best not to look up the creator.

As someone who saw Saving Bikini Bottom back in January, yeah the film sucks. Like I think we owe Sponge On the Run an apology lol.
But in all seriousness, this movie made me feel like Nickelodeon doesn’t know what to do with SpongeBob spin-offs. Like a Plankton movie sounds good conceptually but it’ll be the same quality as this one.
The sandy movie has something that the past films don't have, it was directed by an outsider instead of any of the show's story artists or lead writers. It was instead helmed by a person who worked on Silicon Valley

I’m sorry about the hostility on the first story and segment. I knew that people’s reaction to it and when watching and analyzing the trailer and their comments on the chat would bring out the worst in me. It’s becoming a running gag at this point. It was still unnecessary and uncalled for to give me a timed out. I just wish that someday this cycle and this 2D vs 3D nonsense can finally stop. 😔

Why is Toy Story 5 bad and Shrek 5 Good?
Well for one Toy Story was supposed to end on 3(Which was a PERFECT Film and the best of the trilogy)and yet they made another for cash which missed the point and undid that fantastic ending.Then even that ending was undoned by the announcment of 5!They will not let this franchise end,the story is over so let them live happily ever after(Also shorter sequel gaps)
SHREK is an sensation many love him people were begging for years for Shrek 5,and they just wanted more.Unlike Toy Story where it was apperent 3 is the ending point even Shrek Forever after while having a finale feel has still a opening for more to explore.They waited and did not force it out right away to get rich quick
