    WOW thanks. With your DETAILED tips, I was finally able to remove EXTREMELY FINE LIGHT COLORED dog hair (Chinese Crescent ) from a WHITE BACKGROUND. No one ever removes FINE blond hair from a light background but even with your tut here, i was able to do it- even with fine fur! thanx!

    When I use quick selection it removes the masking every where. What should I do
    Edit : I used the object selection tool and it worked the same way . Followed the rest of the steps and got the results I want. Thanks!

      Thanks Ataur! I'm not sure if it is, you would need to update to the latest version. Also, appreciate the feedback on my audio, I agree. It's at the top of my list on things I need to improve on.

    The Refine Hair tool only works on specific images. Most of my images have movement and flowy hair. I've never been able to get Refine Hair to work.

      Yeah it's not going to work with every image unfortunately. It's better to have a plain background and make sure your aperture isn't too low so you're blurring the hair (that's if you're capturing the image).

    could you tell me what's wrong with my steps? when I start using refine edges tool, it is upside down. the overlay background is getting thicker and the subject/ hair is getting thinner and removed.

      It might be because of your layers underneath the image you're working on. Hide everything except for the layer you're editing and then see if that works

    I lost when you said changle the layer to lighten..and didnt show what you are doing. I cant paint with that method. Help.

      You can change the blend mode in the Layers tab on right. The default is ‘Normal’.

    yOUR SPEECH SPEEDS up at the 3min mark and it is challenging to follow. I had to rewind several times and still have difficulty executing the steps, even with the cc hightlited. Maybe its me.

      very weird how afer using the gradient tool it suddenly made the vignette. Mine does not do that

      You may not need this info now but in case you or anyone else does- I had the same issue. Just make sure once you’re ready to add your gradient that all of your selections at the top are the same. Mode: normal, opacity: 100%, etc.
