He was in down bad boy era for 2 eps then lover boy era for 2 eps then angst boy for 1 and half eps. Thats pretty good considering they actually have to deal with stuff as individuals and as a couple

@@samswayzie idk, in eps 6 which is named as "romancing mr bridgerton", we didnt get to see Colin that much on screen. also compared to simon and anthony, colin did not get that much screentime to see his character development (or his pov, even polin flashbacks) to sympathize him enough. i think that's why some people rooting for lord debling instead of colin. as polin stan, i feel robbed this season, my babies deserve better writing and pacing :(
@@ariasastra8087 Colin got a lot of development if you actually paid attention and watched his mannerisms and feelings and word choice you would understand him Colin is subtle sometimes in his feelings besides when he is overwhelmed he’s not going to just scream his feelings out and or at pen that’s not who he is. Debling legit sucked ass he would’ve never been good for pen the way he never really took time to understand her at all thinking she has a full life at 19 and 3 years on the marriage mart. Debling would’ve never been right for her in any situation and Nicola confirms pen never would’ve gone through marrying Debling as her love for love and for Colin is too strong to give it up
But its funny how Penelope got away with being Whistledown for almost 3yrs and she was caught by her husband to be in less than well, assuming a week from them being engaged. Just goes to show how much Colin loves and cares for her like nobody ever did.

It is a crime that this season focuses so much on Penelope and doesn't focus on Colin's story at all. Its almost as if Colin doesn't exist without his lovestory with Penelope. Honestly, Colin deserves better. His character is amazing and should have explored more, especially since it's his season. We needed more of Polin. Rather than those unnecessary side plots
In the book he was lost but he was there, you could feel his struggle and understand his personality. In the show he was pen's lover and nothing more. Even him searching for a meaning to his life and his writing career felt like it was put there in the show just to keep up with his book persona

@@sajedakhahmad4172 to be fair tge have showed it in previous seasons that he doesn't know his purpose and he was drowning, it should have been more focused on that, but this season was literally giving too much time to Benedict and Francesca.

I had always see it from Pen's point of view. Seeing this makes me see it from Colin's.
His anger in the film is truly warranted (books is different). He is right to feel that way. And from his point of view you can see the anguish. It softens my anguish with all his hurtful words. I just need to separate book Colin with film Colin.
But from an audience point of view I feel more sorry for Pen. Seing all her sufferings from S1 to S3, it breaks my heart to see her sad. But she is much braver than me because I cannot and will not allow any man to speak ill of me specially the word entrapment. She loves so deeply and forgives easily.

Rewatching the LW reveal, makes the think about how Colin got triggered and for one second thought Pen did mean to catch a husband like Marina did -- when he says all the lies you have told me - I bet a small part of them means "you lied that you loved me"

I don't really understand why people think they did not have enough scenes together. Tending to forget that Kate and Anthony literally got together at the very last second of S2 and I don't feel like they had more scenes than Polin. S3 was my absolute favorite. Loved the main couple the most (obviously, I mean FINALLY) but I kinda liked the subplots too. That's what makes a show enticing. I'm quite sad to see so many people hating on S3. Polin stans must stick together ! ♥
Yasss s3 was my favourite too! I loved that they delt with their feelings for each other from ep1 and got together faster relatively, the polin scene were soo sweet and romantic 💖💖

Samee, Polin is also my favorite couple and I've been rooting for them since season 1. Although season 3 was great I do agree with you in terms of how they did with the writing. They changed and added some parts that were not in the book which were well done but I really wished they followed the ending part of the book. I badly wanted that Colin confession where he was the one who introduced Penelope as Lady Whistledown to the ton. He was just so proud to be her husband and this line too: “I love you with everything I am, everything I've been, and everything I hope to be. I love you with my past, and I love you for my future.”

Given that this is a multi-season ensemble instead of the format of the original book series, it's possible that some of the stuff we expected to see this season is being saved for later season polin side plots. In the original books, the other characters barely make an appearance let alone getting any plot, character development or the like. Here, as we saw with Kanthony, we get an actual story for them after their official season is over. If they do the same with other returning characters, like polin, next season, then I am patient in the hope that we still get some more of "polin against the world" and "writer Colin", etc. Maybe even more than we would have if it was all restricted to just this season. If we don't get any more development or story beats after season 3 under this different format, then I will be angry. For now, I reserve judgement. @@yannie_edits/
