Naomi Reid, You know how recently everybody has been using the term "narcissist" generally with very little understanding of what it really means? Let me expalin it to you. A narcissist can be just a vain and selfish person; BUT a person who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder is someone with a pervasive condition from which they will probably never recover. It is very very hard to treat, because the person can never admit they have a problem within themselves. This was Diana. Outwardly- beautiful, charming, and seeming to have great empathy. Actually- Cunning, calculating, manipulative and insincere. When Diana married Charles she seemed young and innocent- But she had had twelve years of wrecking people's happiness, including her own. So when he told her he had had four previous girlfriends, and he was saying Goodbye to them- THEN she didn't believe him, and started to rage with accusations- before they had even married. Charles wanted out...... but an engagement is a binding contract. So Diana went on..... just the way she had done for twelve years previous- raging, tantrumming, smashing things, accusing, telling lies, bullying, destroying his possessions, and getting other people (the men that she slept with) into trouble. After five years Charles was so depressed that two of his friends contacted his old girlfriend Camilla, and suggested that she should resume contact. When Diana told the Press that Charles had cheated on her- it was a lie. When Diana told the Press that the Royal Family didn't help her settle in- it was a lie. When Diana told the Press that Charles was not suitable to be king, it was a terrible lie because he is a man of exceptionally good character and intelligence. She NEVER grew up, and at thirty five, she was still trying to get attention (via Martin Bashir and the interview, as id she was still a little eleven year old being sent off to boarding school by a Father who really did not want her around. For this reason NO-ONE could have made Diana happy. James Hewitt couldn't, and he seemed to adore her. And for Chrles, as Prince of Wales, the marriage was a DISASTER. About the landmine walk- that path was an impacted path that had been walked over repeatedly. Princess Anne, on the other hand, was in th habit of driving HERSELF around in wartorn parts of Africa to supervise the delivery of medicine and food. Nobody concerned themselves much about the possibility of Anne getting blown up, shot or abducted.

And the WORST thing that she did was sit there gazing SO SWEETLY at a reporter while she claimed that "There were always three in the marriage..."
It was a lie. There is NO EVIDENCE that Charles cheated on Diana with Camilla or anyone else between the engagement and 1986, more that a year after the marriage had broken down "Irretrievably".
There is no reason to doubt Charles' word on this, because all his friends and staff knew it to be true.
What Diana did, in lying about our future Monarch and Head of State, was just plain evil.

Understand that an adult woman who self-harms, treats her husband and stepmother violently, and is bulimic HAS a mental illness.
The fact that she had an untreated mental illness for which she reffused help made it almost impossible for Charles to attend public functions with her. When she did things that were physically aggressive to him in public, even before Harry was born, then it was better if they went seperate ways.
Diana was ONLY COMFORTABLE around charity situations where she could be magnanimous and appear to shine. Holding the hand of a sick person was easy for her. Meeting the President of Indonesia or the Emperor of Japan was so stressful she was likely to run out of the room. The Press never showed THAT.
She NEVER grew up, and at thirty five, she was still trying to get attention (via Martin Bashir and the interview, as id she was still a little eleven year old being sent off to boarding school by a Father who really did not want her around.
For this reason NO-ONE could have made Diana happy. James Hewitt couldn't, and he seemed to adore her.
And for Chrles, as Prince of Wales, the marriage was a DISASTER.
About the landmine walk- that path was an impacted path that had been walked over repeatedly.
Princess Anne, on the other hand, was in th habit of driving HERSELF around in wartorn parts of Africa to supervise the delivery of medicine and food.
Nobody concerned themselves much about the possibility of Anne getting blown up, shot or abducted.
