The “creepiness” is intentional. Diana - as the spirit of Lake Baikal - has to scare the boy so that he wakes up and doesn't freeze on the ice at night, thereby saving his life. BTW this is all based on a true story. So if you're scared, that means Diana did a good job artistically.

It was a great choice by the "Spirit of Baikal" film's producers, Diana fits the requirements perfectly! Synopsis - The boy's Dad decides to go on a family adventure to distract his son from the loss of his mother, his Dad drives him to his grandfather's home on the shores of the vast Lake Baikal for some winter fishing. However, things do not go well and the boy and his Grandfather get caught in a bad snowstorm. The boy gets lost on the vast ice of the world's deepest lake. Only love and the mysterious powers within Lake Baikal will save them all. He is helped by the Spirit of Baikal (for which Diana provides the ethereal voice). She also provides the voice of the boy's deceased mother who is connected with events in the film. The video is never slowed, but occasionally sped up. Her movements are not forced, and you probably noticed that she often mouthed the lyrics. Not easy to do while swimming underwater in a long gown. Очень хочется посмотреть фильм Дух Байкала на большом экране. Это первая работа Дианы в озвучке. Диана работала в этом фильме с удивительными людьми, близкими ей по духу. Я надеюсь, что это не последняя работа Дианы с очень талантливым режиссёром- Михаилом Расходниковым, автором слов к этой песне. Желаю им таких же удивительных совместных работ в будущем!

The video is never slowed, but occasionally sped up. Her movements are not forced, and you probably noticed that she often mouthed the lyrics. Not easy to do while swimming underwater in a long gown. Something is off in the sound of her video as it’s reproduced here in your video. I hope it didn’t sound like that as you listened to it. It’s not a good presentation of her performance to those who have never heard her before.
It's unfortunate. It's not what we heard. We heard a very clean crisp version. We have figured out a way to consistently get good sound. There are only few more with dodgy audio left and then we should be good 100%
