  • Following the request of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 2007, the Canadian government is facilitating the immigration of 1,000 Tibetans living in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh to Canada over a five year period.
We can help the families from this remote northeastern state of India achieve their dream by extending a hand as they start new lives in Canada.
Wanting the very best for our children is something we all share, whether we live in Vancouver or 12,000 kilometres away in the tiny Tibetan settlements of Arunachal Pradesh. This program is their chance to realize these dreams for themselves and us.
The future of these new Canadians rests on your generosity today.

    Respected sir -
    This is not the solution
    Go for permanent solution.
For how many Tibetans Canada give citizenship ? Remember no countries in the world treat you equally with their original inhabitants......
In my opinion younger generation like you should fight for the independence of tibet instead of migrating to other countries.
Think about your 7 million Tibetans who are living in the tibet how do you give solution to them ?
As I am an Indian I should mention few things bcz your video is little bit biased..sir PLZZ remember....
Not only Tibetans but also majority of the Indians living in utter poverty.
India is still developing we hv no great infrastructure like your home Canada.
We never ever forced anyone to leave our country.
India is over populated although we never stop welcoming refugees
We never forced refugees to change their religion and culture
Many indians worship Dalai Lama and we consider him as one of our guru
To my Tibetans brothers Indians are always with you ♥️ All the best for your future....

I don't think it's a good idea to help Tibetan refugees to migrate to anywhere in the world lest they may lose their connections with Tibet altogether. The best way to help them would be help them in Arunachal with better facilities, schools, colleges, hospitals, roads etc. And, industry too where they can get jobs and prosper and still maintain their culture.

You're wrong they should not be given shelter in India, they should be sent back to Tibet. Simple logic behind this my ideology is, if there are Tibetans in majority in Tibet then only they can get freedom from China.

Pentimento ... haaaa... what a joke.... thousands of students are graduating each year from indian school, colleges.. how can government provide all these youngters a job... just forget about tibetans in india,,, first tell me how can indian goverment provide their own peoples... all these gratuates students a job... going abroad is not a bad thing... you study well and then come back and serve your nation or go and do jobs in abroad and help your family...

Sam ... god you are so ignorant...china make tibet as living hell..people of tibet are dying everyday in prison ... . you want to send peoples back to tibet so that what our grandparents sacrifices their life and fled to india ...no values for their sacrifices???? our grandparents fled tibet to give the future seeds of tibet a better life ,, better educations ... tibet is known by world now,,after the chinese occupation on tibet in 1959.. his holiness and 80,000 tibetans fled from tibet and tibetans in india try to rebuild everything which was taken by red chinese... rebuild all the major monasteries in india,, given educations , sheltters by indian government ,, now today... tibet in exile is the best refugees as compair to any other refugees... because we believe together we can make a better ..because power of truth of tibet is stronger than power of made in china guns,,,,.we are fighting against china witb peace because we wants our brothers and sisters live alive for tibet ,, together we have to march in tibet when times comes.... so every tibetans life is precious...thanks to indian government and peoples of india to always supporting tibet.. thank you india....thank you canada....long live his holiness.... free tibet....

tsering ..... In India we're not living a luxurious life, if you are being so merciful then do one thing, go to middle east, Bangkok, Venezuela, mexico, Bolivia and other countries where ppl are dying due to political reason or terrorism and bring all over here in India. you're ignorant cuz Tibetan don't wan to stay in India they want to live in Tibet freely without Chinese interference.

    • @tseringdolker9706
      @tseringdolker9706 Před 7 lety +4

Sam . everyone wants to go back ,, did you think china is waiting for us with red carpets...be realistic sometimes.... they occupied tibet because of some reasons... they will not easily give tibet back ,,, we are fighting with communist ideology... their brains are hard as iron bars ,, it take time.. but as a tibetan our responsibility is to remind china everyday that tibet belongs to tibetans only... even in their dreams we will follow...we must study well and when we go back to tibet we can easily manage and work by ourself... because it truth that now tibetans in exile are 99% educated...its all because of his holiness and our grandparents hardword...and specially thanks to indian government...

Tibetans should protest from Tibet and not leave their land, people in Tibet should form a government of their own with their military and fight against China. Tibet cannot get freedom without Tibetans in Tibet. Protest louder and harder for the world to hear you, Tibetans.

UK colonized India and has an illusion that they could interfere Xizang society autonomous zone. But actually Dalai Lama was Vice Chairman of PRC China in 1952. Dalai Lama must be very regret that he betrayed his words with Mao and was seduced by So called western support for independece and forgot Mogolia and Xizhang were part of China for K years. He tried to separated the region and keep salavery policy but Mao liberated the salavery which made Dalai lama and his temples has no right to bully Xizang people.
