Apart from the "real" Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) all waterlilies are generally called Lotus in India, so you can never go wrong with that. Indigenous names are more specific though. Being all alone with the Kingfishers (one of my favorite birds since childhood) during those tender moments was a special gift and experience. Now i hope to find their breeding hole too! Es ist mir eine große Freude, dass meine kleine musikalische Komposition unter deinen wunderschönen Aufnahmen aus der Natur Indiens einen Platz gefunden hat. So trennen uns zwar einige tausend Kilometer und doch ist man so durch Bild und Ton miteinander verbunden. Er hatte sie vorher mit so viel Fisch gefüttert, dass sie sich nicht mehr von der Stelle bewegen konnte! Nach DAS! flog er 10 Meter weiterund fing sich selber einen Fisch, der doppelt so groß war wie der ihr dargebotene. Ich hoffe, ich finde demnächst ihre Bruthöhle... Schönes Wochenende, Tino!💚Ma
