Basically every game in this series is a game I got a code for.
Game Description:
"We have to fight! If we don't, everyone we love will be taken away!"
One fateful night, a peaceful village is thrown into the flames of war. Determined to save their families, a group of children boards a giant tank and begins an offensive charge!
Fuga: Melodies of Steel is an RPG where you place children, each with their own unique characteristics and skills, at different gun turrets in a tank to fight against the enemy.
Living inside the tank, the children show emotion and gain affinity amongst each other. Manage these both to change the outcome of their journey!
-A mysterious ancient weapon: The Taranis
Taranis, the giant tank sheltering the children, conceals many mysteries and somehow seems to have its own will. In situations of crisis, it can release a forbidden weapon, the dreadful Soul Cannon.
-Your adventure. Your choices.
Will you make sacrifices for victory? Or will you seek another path?
In this RPG, many choices have to be made in order to progress... but taking the safest road may not always be the best option.
Faced with a desperate situation, what course of action will you choose?
like I wish my momma used to say, when life gives you children, make giant fuckoff lasers.
Recently picked up this game after seeing an announcement for a second one and damn, it's a hidden gem
This game is in the Little Tail Bronx series. Apparently this is a prequel to Tail Concerto and Solatorobo: Red the Hunter. I've only really played Solatorobo: Red the Hunter a bit and Tail Concerto barely, but they're really good games.
I'd bought and played Solatorobo some years ago, and it was actually very fun (3DS game). I never finished it, though, but I did get at least half-way through it.
@@tjp7154 it only gets better after the halfway point, and with some suprises too.
A really interesting game that I hope to play someday... It also goes to show that despite its art style (which people should learn not judge media by, _by the way_ ) it has an intriguing plot and ideas behind it.
Keith, I thought you'd like to see this video: "「恋多き乙女」G線上のフーガ2(23) 戦場のフーガ2" (it's on the CyberConnect2 channel, which is the company who made the game). Funny enough, one of the comments even said "When did Fuga started casting for Beastars!?". That video is from an animated series that's still being developed for the sequel of the game (Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2), but they already have a similar series for the first one (it's all in English, and it's called Fuga: Comedies of Steel). I can't easily recall companies who did animated series for their games, so it's clear that they care about the franchise. And like I said in a previous comment, these are just good strategy games, so I think they deserve a bit more love/visibility.
Oh my god I'd forgotten about this until I saw this and now I remember thinking it looked so fucking cool
It's an amazing game. Sure it looks rough around the edges (sometimes literally), but it's a very underrated gem nonetheless. Hope to see a full playthrough of it
Love your commentary, please continue this series. 🙋♂️
Good to see you pick up this game! I really loved this one, and recently today i finished the previous game in the Little Tail Bronx series: Solatorobo!
(Save Boron he's such a sweet boy)
Agreed he becomes one of the best pilots in the game. Full on paladin.
“Oh no. Or should I say, OwO no.” - no, you shouldn’t…you should say OwO nOwO.
😜
I don't think any of us were! This game kind of made me feel uneasy because of the "you-know-what" in this game! I don't want to sacrifice one of them in order to progress because it's only going to bite me in the butt if I'm not able to use their abilities in battle! I also feel emotionally torn of having to sacrifice them to use the "you-know-what" because...They're just kids! I just don't know how to finish this game without having to sacrifice anyone! I think I'm just gonna drop this game and just think about stuff...for a while!
Its not that hard to finish the game without sacreficing anyone. Just win the fights without using the Soul Cannon and unlock 5 Link events with Britz (a character that joins latter) before the midpoint of chapter 10. Thats all there is to it.
Bokurano is that you?
Definetely seems inspired by it lol
I do recommend seeing atleast the opening of solatorobo, it's pure furry anime goodness
Hoolyyy shit
my jaw just kept descending and I was laughing more than a few times... the "why"s never stopped and kept escalating; this is anime satire right?
Holy shit I did not expect to see this game here. Such a good game, hope you enjoy it! Cant wait for the sequel!
I'm starting to look forward to your fursona in my notifications...purely for the game content, of course! 😍
Umm, if you end up continuing this game, will you try to get the True Ending? And if so, do you want hints to how to get it?.
"I don't like the sound of these Boncentration Bamps." - MPFC
I love your energy Keith haha it was infectious!
Please keep playing Fuga. I loved your first episode of Fuga. More happens, but I won't say exactly because I don't want to spoil it for you.
Highlight suggestions (Anime furry WWII simulator with child soldier protagonists) 18:48 - 20:12, 26:33 - 34:52 This kinda reminds me of Advance Wars, but with more involved combat (with the turn order bar and ways to delay enemies' turns) and simplified army management (since you only control one unit). I'm into it; this game is amazing! Now I'm wondering if you can win that battle without using the Soul Cannon, or if they game railroads you into doing it.
18:32 It looks like the back row characters only add a passive effect to the front row ones (described as a "support effect" on the bottom left of the screen).
You can complete the entire game without using the soul cannon.
Or alternatively you can use the children on every boss fight and beat the game with only 2 kids left.
@@menggokil2004 Interesting. Thanks for the reply!
@@pedrostormrage SPOILER ALERT
Theres gonna be three different endings depending on how much you use the soul cannon.
I fucking love this series do much, til concerto on ps1, solatorobo on the Ds and now fuga on steam and a direct sequel to it too!
I think I prefer Rocket Slime's take on the "firing children out of cannons" genre.
lol I've been trying so hard to promote this game last year. Let's all have fun melting children's body and soul for war.
THIS CANNOT BE A REAL GAME
FUCK THIS FURRY GAME WAS WORTH IT
Your cheeky commentary is very cringy in this video. Kieth, I like your videos for your comments, but this time they are a bit much.
Like, this is a game about children going to war in a weaponized tank that consumes their souls, and your reaction is “Ha-ha-ha! UwU! The war is scawy-wamy. He-he!” This game's prologue is kinda stupid, I know, but I can't understand why are you laughing SO much.
You know what! Buy this game and continue playing. Let's see for how long you'll be able to nervously laugh before you start taking the story seriously.
what the fuck is this game hahahah
