Restored cross sections took me right back to S339 at the OU in the early 90s and now I've retired and moved to Haute-Savoie, with the Giffre and Arve valleys just up the road, it is helping make sense of what I see. Tennevierge is my favourite mountain face 😍
Wonderful place to live - lots of inspiration hillsides to gaze onto in Haut Savoie .... and the imbricated/folded Tithonian around Fer a Cheval are stunning.
