Steps Outlined, See Video for More Detail & Examples!
Step 1: Buy Boots with a Fractured Suffix of Your Choice
Step 2: Roll an Extra Suffix with an Essence of Your Choosing until you get 3 total suffixes (and an open prefix, which is quite likely).
Step 3: Craft Suffixes Cannot be Changed
Step 4: Use a Veiled Chaos Orb to Reroll Prefixes and add a Veiled Mod
Step 5: Block Mana/LifeRegen veiled mod
Step 6: Unveil and pick best option for you
Step 7: Benchcraft Life/ES prefix
Step 8: Finish with an Exalt if needed and Eldritch Implicits!

I forgot to add: If you have full suffixes, you can buy a Wild Bristle Matron beast to add a "random" meta craft to the item. The only prefix metacraft is "suffixes cannot be changed" so it is not really random in that case. You sale like one div with that, but includes more trading.

I love procedural, highly deterministic and customizable crafts like this in PoE, the game definitely benefits from players crafting more of their own gear. Do you have any other solid craft recipes for certain items?

Same principle (fracture + essence + metamod + veiled) works for most item slots. Rings work pretty well, you're almost guaranteed to hit life as a veiled mod (block veiled mana). Also, it should be mentioned, that step 4 sometimes fills up the prefixes and bricks your attempt. Use Aisling, if you want to be safe!
I used that exact thing in last league for the first time aswell. Also did my wand for spark this way too having fractured proj speed.
@@chabum81 For chest/helmet/gloves/boots, filling up on prefixes can be deterministically saved with an Eldritch Orb of Annulment.
Before doing this, check your Beasts for the free Metamod craft. If your Suffixes are full, it can only hit Suffixes cannot be changed. Can save you two divines, especially on SSF where the uses for that beast might be otherwise limited.

Well I just made like 50 div boots because I got onslaught and slammed like 69 mana, very pog video thanks zig!
i wouldnt do veiled mods when you can craft these boots for even less than 100c just use the fractured base you have and essence craft it once or twice for 30% movement speed and if u have open prefix just craft life. If you want good suffixes just use bigger eater currency and lower exarch currency and use eldritch chaos orb and you will have boots with 70life and 30% movement speed and fractured mod guaranteed and you can use that eldritch chaos orb to get decent suffixes.. If you want you can slam for last prefix.

just did this for some ele avoid boots with the eater of worlds implicit holy shit is this getting nerfed next league if i know GGG. thanks for the vid once again Ziggy this is purely awesome.
Now add Eldritch Ichor and Embers to add implicits like more avoid ailments and some movement speed
Its a nice step by step method but anyone trying to follow it, please be warned that the veiled chaos is still a significant point of RNG that can easily explodes the total cost.
Ziggy got super lucky with getting only a clean single veiled prefix but it can just as easily:
a) fill up prefixes completely, so no more benchcrafting to block/finish the item or
b) give you bad life and /or movespeed in adittion to the veiled mod, likely bricking the craft.
Both of these cases end up with either havin to land a yolo annull, but more likely starting over or rerolling prefixes again, both costing another 2 div.
Love ya Ziggy, but calling this "under 3 div unless really unlucky" i find a bit bait-ey because the chances of having to reroll prefixes multiple times to hit something good aren't as small as you're implying.
You're right that it's a point of failure, though pretty low. Nowhere near as dire as you imply. Landing six mods is only a 1 in 12 on chaos orbs and if you hit that you have a 50/50 chance to save it with an Annul.
Bad life roll sucks but is still very useable imo.
If your standards are high it may take you a few tries to land your threshold desired result. Unless your base item is super duper expensive you should always just finish and sell a fail and buy another base to start again, offsetting your costs or even giving a profit.
I think under 3 div is a pretty fair claim, especially given that beasts seem to be an even cheaper option for suffixes can't be changed and most fractured bases are under half a div.

Selling the non-ideal outcomes to recoup some investment is a good point that I completely missed.
Spending most of my recent leagues in pseudo-ssf private leagues might be getting to my brain :D
I think my main concern was just making it a "how to", getting lucky with open prefixes and in turn not adressing the potential roadblocks that people without a lot of crafting knowledge (i.e. the target audience of the video) may struggle with if encountered.

@@ZiggyDGaming I'm maybe a bit late to this video, but I think its also worth noting that you can use an eldritch annulment orbs since this is a boot craft, preventing a suffix hit on the annul. At that point the only concern is annulling the movespeed (only 1/3) and having to suffix lock -> veiled chaos again.
I’ve been wanting to upgrade my boots so this will be a nice budget option :D

As a new player, it seems all the creating recipes are locked. I get maybe 1 recipe per map sometimes. Is there a better way
If you open your crafting bench and scroll to the bottom you can see which crafts you are missing. If you hover over them it will tell you how to find it.
im a bit of a noob to crafting so this is perfect and I was about to craft my boots, before exalting could you not have blocked say mana with a benchcraft and tried to exalt slam life on it
We technically did by locking in life ensuring we didn't exalt a low tier of life

Veiled orbs were common and acted more like a chaos then. The current expensive veiled orb is the replacement for aislings top craft. I miss the old ones 😭
I dont craft often myself but isnt there a beast that gives u something like suffixes cannot be changed which is cheaper than 3 div? or is that another craft im confused with.
Wild Bristle Matron adds a random metamod and costs a bit over a Divine I think. It's 1 in 5 chance to hit the metamod you want so probably not good for this.

tota i got a good chaos fractured helm and boots near perfect under a div for both but this league theyre alot more expensive atleast for when i bought them and it was at most early week 2 most likely late week 1

These crafting tips are all well and good...but what if you are on ssf and trying to learn the crafting system?!
The same concepts apply! You just scale to your resources. Like putting an essence on a pair of fractured boots you find and calling it a day. Good thing in ssf is divines can't be spent trading so you can save them towards metamod benchcrafts for later on.
3 div? How much do you think a veiled orb is?

But now you just have to harvest reroll speed after you block suffix to get MS, then craft life :)
