Hi, does have the gateway be connected per ethernet only? Or I can connect gateway per wi-fi as well?
I cant believe how easy you set it up. Both my camera s dont connect to the gateway anymore. Doesnt let me go past the screen where it says if its blue flashing confirm... re installed the gateway multiple times
Is the WiFi needed for hub and camera to make a connection. I am interested can the hub and camera work together without WiFI so the hub saves video/images on SD card.

Hi! I made the test with 2 of those. My experience wasn't the best, both of them loose your vision with humidity and rains.

I'm a bit late to this i feel but anyways 😂 Great video, a question though. Is it possible to mount it in a ceiling? All the images are of the camera mounted to a wall. Is it possible to get a good angle if it were to be mounted to a ceiling?
You really have to play about positioning it and test.

It can but then your waterproofing is deplugged. Maybe there's a workaround for microusb.

Nope, the battery only lasts 2 days with continuous recording 24/7. 30 days if you put it in a dark store room with nothing moving.

If the base didn't have a battery in it, there's nothing to stop someone cutting the power to stop them recording
Your routers etc should in any case be connected to a UPS which will run these low voltage items for hours on end.

Thanks, speed should be a reduced resolution. Probably very subtle hence why you don't notice.

this model is rubbish quality. so difficult to add camera, always cannot connect after so many attempts.

Обращаюсь ко всем, кто хочет себе купить камеру от сяоми EC2 - не ведитесь на китайский развод о якобы огромной автономности данной камеры и уж тем более - о качественности видео и уж еще больше тем более - о том , что облачная и еще там бла бла!! На постоянном включенном изображении с этой камеры - ее аккумулятор сядет в ноль через 2 дня максимум!! Если смотреть на изображение с этой камеры минут по 10-15 каждый час в течении дня - то максимум 7 дней - и заряд в ноль!! Месяц или больше она способна продержаться в рабочем состоянии - если вы будете 1-2 раза в день заглядывать в изображение на 2 минуты - и то - сильно сомневаюсь!!! Теперь насчет изображения - полное дерьмо! При увеличении даже - с 10 метров даже при ясной погоде не разобрать лицо человека и тем более номер машины! Ночное "видение" - неподвижные обьекты более-менее различимы, все движущиеся обьекты - размытое пятно, как будто тени какие-то летают, и то не всегда видно!! И уж тем более вы не увидите кто к вам лезет именно и потом никого не сможете опознать никак!! В дождь инфракрасное ночное видение - вообще не видит! Обычный режим - только если улица хорошо освещена будете видеть! После дождя капли высыхают и остаются пятна, и если обьектив не протирать - после нескольких дождей будут серьезные помехи для обзора!! Теперь насчет " облачности и предупреждений с камеры" - там есть функция "датчика движения и автоматической сьемки в облако или на флешку" - полный развод!! Если датчик включен - и перед камерой будет движение - то уведомление вам на телефон поступит с задержкой минимум минут на 20!! А то и вообще не придет!! То есть у злоумышленников есть минимальная фора в 20 минут!! Мало?? - хватит чтобы полностью обчистить ваше жилище и свалить!! " Работа облака" : наснимала камера видосов - чтобы его с облака выгрузить - минимум 1 минута нужна! А "датчик движения " реагирует НА ВСЕ ! Даже ветка колыхнется на ветру - сразу снимает !! Но прикол в том - что движущихся обьектов он вообще не видит! И вы потом устанете загружать эти ролики, смотреть что там ниче нету и удалять их! " Работа с флешкой" - вставляли разного обьема ( по заявленным от и до ) - самсунг и кингстон - не видит ни одну флешку!! Вот так вот господа товарищи дорогие - вот вам наичестнейший обзор камеры сяоми EC2!! Даже на давно устаревшей модели от сяоми mija 360° - картинка в тыщу раз лучше и дневная и ночная - но на улицу ее не выведешь, хана придет через дней 10 если дожди пойдут, и даже обмотка изолентой не поможет( проверено) , так что думайте сами, прежде чем повестись и купить это дерьмо за 7-9 тысяч!! Если же деньги есть , и не в лом будет каждую неделю лазить, снимать ее, заряжать, лезть прикручивать опять - то конечно, хозяин-барин! И еще : когда заряд камеры становиться меньше 20% - она СРАЗУ перестает транслировать изображение и ее надо перезаряжать, а значит там в них реально не 5 тысяч микроампер, а где то 4 не больше!!
