was thinking the same thing.

if he does im moving there and ill work for free lol

It warms my heart to see that Matt's not too big-time to seed his own lawn and glue plastic pieces to his kid's toys.
Matt several years ago: “I’m taking the camper rack off my raptor because it’s too recognizable.”
Matt now: drives around in a truck with FIFTY CALIBER MACHINE GUN ON THE ROOF OF HIS TRUCK, the Cummins Cuda, and the Five Ton…
That is so awesome! Congratulations to the winner! Thanks again Matt!
Matt, any seeder is a pull behind unit with enough desire and creativity. Or conversely, you can make it an ATV push seeder if thats what floats your boat.
why not see if seeds can stop a 50 cal with blue tip and see if that can spread your seeds for you
I was just about to say that Matt could easily rig his seed spreader up behind a lawnmower or even that pickup.
@@carlsmith2037 doesn't he own a cannon 😏
You sir are living in 3023 while rest of use are living in 2023.
The real problem is he told Mare, I thought the first real was not to tell Mare!?
Thanks Matt, I was watching this video on my lunch break and a coworker walks into my office and asks "Why are you watching a shirtless guy do work?". 😑🤣
Hahahahahahaha

When I was about 10 years old my parents purchased the Tyco 9.6V Turbo Bandit for me for Christmas. I broke a shock tower on the front suspension a few days after having it. I was super bummed out as well. My father did a similar repair with a two part epoxy and that repair held up for years. I was so overjoyed that he was able to fix it. I even remember him saying he added a little bit extra on the outside for support. Good fathers are both a blessing and timeless. Man how 30 years has flown by I can still remember that like it was yesterday.
Congrats to the young lad. Looking forward to the new project.
Happy new years matt and for the RC cars - if you get him a good/expenssive RC, they usually have al interchangeable parts since RC cars are usually made to be broken a rebuild, and if you get a really good one, you can do miniature mechanic with him - i used to do that with my dad, great memories
Good advice on the RC cars. I bought a hobby grade FTX for my son, with plenty of spares and upgrades available, for the same price as a toy that couldn't be easily fixed once broken.
Traxxas and RC10 are great brands and don't break the bank
And you can change gearing and motor to match his driving skill.
I can second Traxxas. I got a Truck called the Rustler at the age of 12 myself. They still make it, and its much faster now. Should also have many parts for it
Another vote for Traxxas. He will break the car again and Traxxas sells all the individual parts.
Congrats to The gal and her son who won the truck! Great story for sure!! Thanks for sharing your family with us!!!! Happy New Year!! I hope we all have a fantastic 2023!!!
Happy New Year Matt. Looks like a good year coming 👍
Traditional jbweld with submerged paperclips is what I'd use to fix that plastic suspension. Jbweld both between the parts and externally with a flexible reinforcement like ziptie or paperclip is usually by far the strongest route and it bonds perfectly so long as you rough up the plastics and ziptie a bit.
Congratulations young man!!! Enjoy your new truck!!!
It's annual. Should be perennial for what you're wanting. People plant annual rye grass in their gardens before winter to be turned under in the spring for great nutrients for the soil.
It was killing me I was debating on saying something about it 😂 I’m a grass nut tho
I came looking for this comment!
I moved into a 4 year old house in 1989 and the first year, rye sprouted in my backyard. I never planted it and it’s adjacent to the native vegetation that has still never been cleared, so I assume that the original owner seeded the area. I never mow it and it dies back in our hot summers but 33 years later it is still coming back every winter. While it is annual, it will reseed itself.
@@tastx3142 yes, it will reseed itself. Any annual plant will if the seeds can handle winters. Your lucky it's characteristics haven't changed to weeds.
@@joeyabner It's just got to be green long enough for a photo right??? LOL
I’m sure everything will work out as far as your plans are concerned. I’ve watched you long enough (your channel was the first one I ever subscribed to) to know that if you want something, you’ll work like a dog until you get it. Love both your channels.
THAT'S AMAZING!!! CONGRATULATIONS BUDDY!!
Matt, get hobby grade cars so you can buy replacement parts, and if you go with something like the Traxxas cars, most of them can be ran on a 50% training mode so kids can get used to them. That's what I have been doing with my 8 y/o, and got him a little 1/24 crawler also as that really helps teach control.
I would Assume the RC truck has a warranty of some type. Sounds like a pos the way it broke.
@@j_rainsgoat3929 yeah, a drop wouldn't be ocovered.
Those Traxxas ones that Cleeter bought the team are awesome.
Those are super expensive.
A brushed Traxxas Mini E-Revo would be perfect. They are super fun and really fun to fix.
Happy new years Matt! 🎉❤
So excited for the resort property….much better!!
I love the simple vidoes like this doing the everyday stuff like fixing a toy for your son.
Once that axle dries, put another layer on it. It will help it hold longer.
Great job on the video Matt! Thanks for making it. Ghost Town Ranch next!
Rye grass is very good to put out in the winter. I sold quite a bit this year at the plant nursery I work at
WONDERFUL! I am from Tennessee! How neat is that!!! :) Congratulations!

Moisten that shit down brother. Moving from Australia to Texas all going well next year! All the best to you and yours!
That is so awesome I'm so glad he won it that is so amazing!! Congratulations Alicia!!! 🎊
A lot of rc parts are interchangeable even though places won’t admit it. There are even adapters that are metal if you want to put a different brand wheel and tire on.
CZcams not good enough? Lol
Cut styrofoam in thin slices to fit the part. Put drops of superglue on it.
The foam will start to desolve and permanently bond to the plastic.
IT WORKS!
Try it on a inconspicuous place.
Happy New Year!
@OffTheRanch_1....scammer alert^^
happy new year to you and the family.
You have SO much access to SO many resources, you'll make whatever happen that you want. 🤘🤘
I'm sure that Demolition Ranch could get sponsored by some R/C brands like Traxxas, Team Associated, HPI etc. Maybe get in contact with a hobby shop and do a sponsorship. Anyways, happy new year!

Matt your a legend man been watching your videos since day one your an inspiration
Keep it going!!!
Happy New Year!
We will see you next time!
I love that Mere laughs when she bouncing the impala!
Congratulations on the truck young man. That's an AWESOME Xmas for ya bud.
Please share a link to the property when you decide to sell it. Would love to share it with some Texas family that might be interested.
My husband puts out rye grass in parts of our pastures. Works great. I’d like to know of a great spreader for behind a riding lawnmower. It would be something I could surprise my husband with. He’s 71 and supposedly retired, however he’s the hardest working man that I know. Constantly stays busy with our acres of land. Any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Good luck with selling your property. Awe, congratulations Alicia! Matt you and Mer are the most thoughtful and wonderful couple. ❤
You should rent a ride on aerator with a seeder in it, it’ll get that done in no time and loosen the dirt up for you so the seed can grow in even better, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Lincoln needs the one Cleetus bought his crew. I do too.
I bet you can find a seeder for your skid loader.
Hope all is well Matt. Love the videos
Don't know what you have planned but will miss the vids from the river it drew me to this channel hope it's epic whatever yer doing
So happy to hear about the family that won the truck!
Matt- you should have sent the Lincoln's truck over to Brandon at Muscle Rod Shop. He's got the tools and skills to repair it. 😉
Newbern is about 25 miles south of me … congrats Alicia and 17 yr old son !!!
Good luck!!!!!!!!
Prayers up for you Matt I hope you get what your going for
bro you should deliver the truck so we can see this kids reaction. That would be AWESOME!
When you said Alisha had no idea about the truck amd that the 17 year old didn't have one, I had chills because it was the perfect scenario on who should have won. I think if You (Matt amd Mere) would be there to hand over the keys to the kid....that would be the icing on the perfect cake!
Matt, the cheap Hosim RC cars off Amazon are great! You can get one for about $80 and you can get replacement parts as well as upgrade the diff to all metal gears plus you can get oil filled shocks for it. It'll also do around 35mph
How cool is that! That she ordered one shirt and won! Congrats! ♥️
Traxxas rc cars have the ability to limit the throttle so they don't go too fast for beginners plus the ability to upgrade and unlock the full potential later on
RIP Ken Block.
It's unrelated, but needs to be said everywhere.
Holy smokes, I found out from you.
Glad to hear about the truck winner and I will be looking forward to the for sale link to your river property.
Matt buy the parts kit for Lincoln as a 16 year old who started the hobby at Lincoln’s age I still love it. They are meant to be broken and fixed it’s part of the hobby it’s actually probably my favorite part of the hobby I remeber fixing them with my dad when I was little and it has taught me a lot about fixing cars and how things work. Now Im into the bigger cars and I race them at tracks with other people kinda like the trophy trucks but smaller and a lot cheaper to fix
Unless I miss my guess by a country mile, Matt and Mere are looking at buying and renovating an abandoned ghost town to turn it into some sort of business.
Tell Lincoln to talk to uncle roman he has enough rc cars and a rc car grave yard 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
While spreading seed “works”. I have found in my area disturbing the soil with a rake, drag… or better yet putting the seed just under the soil with a grain drill it takes less seed for better results. But if you had rain coming it should be fine. That is a nice looking piece of property.
That's great the truck went to the kid. U guys rock at demolition ranch/ smile more/ bunker branding.
Normally, spreading your seed around is a “don’t tell Mere” situation, but when it comes to mower attachments, it’s a “do tell Mere”.
Praying for you!
Best rope swing iin Texas at Shoemakers Crossing, and another south of Kerrville on Hwy 16 near Bandera on the Guadalupe river
calling it! next property Vineyard!
I can’t believe you guessed it was a Mom buying a shirt for her son and having no idea about the truck. And you were only off by a year regarding his age. Pretty incredible!
Normally eBay has aftermarket parts for RC cars that are aluminum. I have a bunch of trucks and eBay always comes threw with the win… check it out !
Some parts like the bulkhead and steering knuckles you want aluminum other parts like the A arm you want nylon. The nylon will flex when needed. For backyard bashing the right combo you can have a rc truck that can take alotvof abuse.
For rc cars Definitely say look into traxxas or aarma. They have good brushless options you can turn down or gear down. Parts are readily available at local hobby stores. They also have great support from the companies.
This is a perfect job for a 3d printer... I fixed my nephew's rc by modeling a new suspension part after he broke it. It was behind the wheel so I beefed up the structure some... It has held for a year. 3d printers are awesome!
Matt if you cant get the property you want this year, then it would be a great video series to go through the process of setting the goal longer, for a new date, and show us your process to reach and meet your big goals. That would inspire more people.
Perfect idea!
Yes! Love this!
Oh hell yeah, I would watch that series!
This needs to be top comment or pinned😂
Glad you guys like my idea. Hooefully matt sees it this late in the day.
If the epoxy does not work then mix CA glue (super glue) and baking soda together. It creates a solid that is really hard and will hold. Had to do the same thing to my son's about 10 years ago.
You can also use CA glue and thinly sliced styrofoam. The glue melts the foam and creates a very strong bond between two pieces of plastic.
@@robertmoriarty925 oooo…I’d heard of the baking soda situation, however, I’ve never heard of the styrofoam one before…cool tip!
👍👍
graphite(pencil "lead") and Super Glue is really strong
Graphite works great too. I use it on my guitar nut grooves to raise a low string. It works better than baking soda because it allows the string to slide better. ..If you’re into that stuff :-)
@@GeneralWAITE Dude, that would set like stone! Thanks for the tip!!
The vet doing RC surgery I love it!
Matt your a very smart man! Everything will turn out great!!
Matt is definitely buying a whole town😅
I said "renovating an abandoned town?"!!
San antonio is now his 🤣🤣🤣
@@jordancardona9221 I'm betting its a large ranch in Montana...
Either that or the Alamo.
Nope he's buying Disney out!.....lol...
Is that tree outlet up to code @13:24 ? Lol ⚡☠
In auto body repair, we use something called a hot stapler for plastic repairs. Little super glue to hold it and a couple staples melted in it for support and it'll hold better than new.
The best place to run them is in a sand pit or an open field around your house anywhere there is curbs or trees you just going to smash into them, even a grown up playing with these things ends up hitting something so you need open space less chance of breaking them but if you flip them a lot depending on the types of rims you have the rims can break as well from rolling and bouncing and flopping when you lose control
The cops see the truck coming with the big gun on top and are just like "Yeah, that's Matt. Leave him alone, he's got more guns than our entire police department"
Hey Matt get link a Traxxas XRT or a sledge you can gear it to the perfect speed for him and they are hard to break very good bash trucks parts are reasonable if you do break it it would take a lot to break tho
👍👍
I would start with a Rustler. Way more affordable and his level, but still capable of upgrading later on.
Matt I hope that you make it there and fulfill your dreams about what ever is coming up
@OffTheRanch_1.... ?
18:00… it’s Texas and it’s not like you rolled up screening “aye aye aye aye aye!!!!” 😂 was just thinking of the movie back to the future. 😉
The Demo Ranch Experience lodge is incoming I suspect
Abandoned town project.
@@jiminauburn5073 the way he talks about it and how big of a liability it's gonna be I think it's that Demo Ranch Experience he was talking about two or three years ago but the abandoned ghost town renovation might be the start of that
This is what I suspect too. I don't think they would be all that nervous if it was just a ghost town thing.
Or perhaps it will be both ideas combined!
can anyone say MONTANA GHOST TOWN??? LOL... love the vids bro. Happy new year!
That's what I said as well..lol
You should look into having someone HYDROMULCH those large areas for you. Hydromulching is relative inexpensive compared to the work you have to do otherwise to attain the same result. Different seeds are usually included so when one the fast growing seeds sprout, provide cover to the others creating a protective canopy until the spread.
The plastic bonder definitely works. My son broke his toy the same way. I fixed it using the same technique and it hasn't failed.
I'll admit I'm kinda bummed I didn't win the truck, but I'm with Matt, having a mom not even know about the contest and winning, so her son gets a sweet first vehicle, that's epic!
Matt it will be worth getting the kit. For the rc.
My favorite love the Demo ranch special
You got it Matt!
ooooh.... hopefully you found an abandoned ghost town... aka bunkertown

That's the dummy one he bought to have on there when he's not using the gun. He only has the real one on there when he's going to be shooting it. Like in the latest Demo Ranch video.
glue wont hold up. honestly i bought a Traxxas Slash and my 8 year old wanted to try it. Next thing you know he took it over. he's really good at driving it. The Traxxas Slash has a ton of replacement parts and the parts are really cheap. But the best part about the truck is that they are virtually indestructible. That would be my recommendation. He will love it. You will love it. i bet you end up buying yourself one eventually.
You got this my King!
