To all the people who complain about the fact that he's caucasian. Go to Tokyo, Seoul, Guangzhao, Shanghai, etc.. and take a look at how many non Asian restaurants are being run by Asian people. Maybe you all need to travel, maybe you need to read this if you can't. Let someone be passionate about what they're doing, stop hating, live your own life. Much love.
Nail on the head, dude! In South Africa we have the largest Indian population outside of India and you'll hear people say that a lot of it is not proper Indian food. I use African bird's eye chillis in Thai curries, I use South African chutney in tomato sauce for pasta dishes. The world is a small place and if it tastes good, I don't care if it's authentic or not.

No it doesn't. It's literally an extra topping. Bibimbap literally translates to "mixed rice". Korea historically wasn't a wealthy nation, so people worked with what they had. If we're going to go with tradition, then the only topping option would be "work with what you have".

That chef’s food looks better than all of the food here in Thailand haha. Seriously though, you’d be surprised how nasty and dirty most of the restaurants are here.
You can only eat som tam so many times before it loses it’s appeal. There’s not a lot of variety in Thai cuisine, especially up here in Isan territory
Some people are saying, “I don’t see one Asian.” Who cares? Food looks tasty, and is made with passion. I’d like to see those people make a plate of food as pretty as his.

Because if it's a white person making a dish from another culture it's "bad". This is not applied to every ones mindset but those who strongly point out the cook isn't of the culture truly are being racist in their dislike and distrust. Bobo Le Chico has only 4.4% of Asians in their demographics, in the video the guy said there wasn’t much food diversity which is why he took this up. I think it’s cool that they’re introducing fusion foods into a relatively homogeneous city.
