  • Putting my intake mod to the test. I am using my SCTX4 tuner to monitor the intake temperature during a 30 minute drive. The data shows while vehicle is moving, my intake temperatures (my intake mod) are the same as the outside air temperatures. Naturally when vehicle is at idle stopping or not moving, the hood keeps entire engine bay warm, including intake manifold. When vehicle is moving, intake and intake manifold are cool to the touch after even a 30 minute drive. I open the hood, touch the intake and intake manifold, cool to the touch. Another reason for these cooler intake temperatures is due to my removal of engine cover and hood heat blanket which keeps heat on engine no matter what. Hope this video explains better that my Cold air intake mods work along with removing engine cover and hood heatshield blanket.

Why didn’t you replace the elbow between the throttle body and MAF? That resonator can’t be good, and you could probably replace it with a 3” 90 degree elbow for $5.

@@TTATurbochargeThemAll silicone tubing comes pre-shaped for the 90 from some places. Then you could even get rid of the bellows attachment after the MAF...
