this is a vv late update but im going to share my results in detail >:) for context, I used to act in plays years ago. I don't act anymore, but I do wish to get back to my hobby. instead of pursuing my dream of being an actress, I perform in a band. abt a month ago our school decided to celebrate philippine independence day in one big theatre, and my band was invited to perform along with many other performers. a week before the event, I went to school early in the morning to practice our band songs, but instead of doing what i planned to do, one of the school staff dragged me to a different room where a few students were singing and practicing. I was told that my mom signed me up to perform in their musical. I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THERE WOULD BE A MUSICAL, and when I asked my mom, she said she only signed me up for the band performance. the crazy part is that she happened to have ACCIDENTALLY signed me up for the musical too. best accident ever. so yeah, after just a week full of rehearsals, I performed in the big theatre. I was given one of the main roles, and out of everyone, I even had the most lines. the audience was big af and they gave us a standing ovation 💪 it was crazy, i was awarded two certificates a few days after the performance, the school founder approached me and told me that the director was very fond of me and that he wouldn't stop talking about how I rehearsed and performed. i was also informed that i'm invited to act again on our school's next musical on november 😈😈 this sub works too well, i cant express my gratitude in words
