I have two rex rabbits 🐇, and they are the best friends I ever had 😅 very mischievous and active, and sometimes they drive me mad because they climb into the rubbish bin, hide somewhere so I have to move the furniture around to find them, or they steel groceries right from the shopping bags. 🙄😂🙈 But they are so funny and adorable, and they have the softest and prettiest coat on earth 🥰
@@zookiniibread8858 Thanks for your response. I don't groom him but his fur has grown back. He seems to molt weirdly when it's finer fur like back of his neck
@@biancapereira8529 Are you giving him baths? This too can cause hair loss. I'm probably running over questions that the vet asked you anyway, just thought I'd share some knowledge just in case it helps at all.
@@biancapereira8529 I’m experiencing this right now I just noticed a spot yesterday and was concerned ! The other one doesn’t have this and isn’t shedding as much right now either !?
@@skylarait5886 I went to quite a few vets and they all said the same - some Rex buns just molt weirdly and leave odd patterns. Don't stress too much. It's probably just that.
Not sure , I think the large white New Zealand rabbits are used more often and larger breeds but Rex’s are so soft , they were. Bred for fur. But this videos about pet rabbits, rabbits used for meat or fur are kept or hunted only for that reason
I have 2 mini rex rabbits and they are amazing. I always get compliments and comments on their nice soft fur!
Yes they are!
I love the rex. Great for meat production and good fur to make stuff with
I have 3 boys absolutely love!!!
I have a mini rex he's the cutest most beautiful thing ever

I love 💘my Rex.
I have a Rex rabbit her name is bun bun and I love her so much and she is not docile or passive sometimes she likes to fight or it’s either cuddling
My daughter wants a bunny for her birthday this year
Yes for the charming and sweetheart. Our rex loved traveling with us and we sometimes took her to malls and even the mall guards liked petting her.
regularly groom them? ive been told my many people to not do that
I don't think I've ever met one but I hear they're super soft.
Petted
Generally docile 🤣
I have bred and showed Red rabbits. This CZcams clip is prejudice to rabbit breeders.
My rex boy is losing lots of fur on the sides and back of his neck and between his ears. Vet says he doesn't have mites. Anyone else experience this?
Are you grooming him? It is recommended that the Rex isn't brushed, as that can cause fur loss.

Seems like they aren't for eating then
They are meat rabbits and pet rabbits

What about rabbits for meat
I just acquired 4 that someone got as as pets and didn’t want to keep. They will join our breeding/meat outfit.
